QUÉBEC CITY (Ville de Québec), Québec (Canada) -
The opener of the best-of-five Championship Series of the CanAmLeague rained out on Tuesday-evening (September 11).
In the Final, Dutch outfielder Kalian Sams will play with Les Capitales de Québec, which won its Play-Offs against Rockland Boulders, 3-1.
The team faces Sussex County Miners, which won its best-of-five Play-Off against Les Aigles de Trois-Rivières, 3-2.
The opening game now will be played on Wednesday.
When the Championship Series needs all five games, the last one now will be played coming Sunday instead of Saturday.
That means that Sams will return home on Monday to arrive in the Netherlands early Tuesday-morning.
On that day, the Super 6 Baseball Softball opens in Hoofddorp (Netherlands).
During that event, Sams will play for the Netherlands National Team.
After completion of the Super 6, Sams will join L&D Amsterdam Pirates for the Holland Series.
