HCAW trailed for most of the game, but decided it with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning.
HCAW got a chance to open the score in the bottom of the first inning off of starter Martin Kram.
With one out, the righthander gave up a double to Delano Selassa, then got the bases loaded when he walked Roelie Henrique and Vince Rooi.
However, the inning ended when Bryce Cherry grounded into a double play.
Moments later, Storks scored two runs in the top of the second inning off of starter Kaj Timmermans.
With one out, Aldi Guzman walked and Philip Brandl singled.
Joost van den Bergh followed with a runscoring single, which also gave Storks runners at the corners.
After Van den Bergh had stolen second base, a wild pitch enabled Brandl to score the second run.
After HCAW left another runner behind in the second inning, the team got one run back in the third at bat.
With one out, Delano Selassa reached second base on a throwing error and moved on a single by Roelie Henrique.
Selassa was then forced out at third base on a grounder by Vince Rooi.
Hereafter, Henrique scored on a single by Bryce Cherry, but the inning ended when Rooi was eliminated trying to advance to third base on the basehit.
Storks got only two more baserunners in scoring position in the remainder of the game.
In the fifth inning, Tijani Dunlop singled with one out and stole second base with two outs, but was left behind.
In the sixth, Jurriaan Dijk led off with a single and moved on a sacrifice bunt by Runai Coran.
He advanced to third base on a grounder, but then stayed behind.
After having scored in the third inning, HCAW got its next runner in scoring position in the bottom of the seventh.
With two outs, Kevin Weijgertse singled and moved on a following outfield-error, but he also was left behind.
Still trailing 2-1, HCAW turned the game its way with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning off of new pitcher José Moreno.
With one out, he walked Delano Selassa and Roelie Henrique.
With two outs, Selassa scored the tying run on a single by Bryce Cherry.
With runners on first and third base, Seb Visser was announced as pinch-hitter for designated hitter Berend Ruben.
However, Visser never got an at bat, but he stayed in the game to become the new designated hitter.
During Visser's at bat, the inning ended.
First, Cherry got into a rundown after a pick-off.
In the meantime, Henrique took off from third base and he scored shortly before Cherry was tagged out to end the inning.
But HCAW now led 3-2.
In the top of the ninth inning, Oscar Meuris took over the pitching for HCAW.
After a lead-off grounder, Meuris struckout the next two hitters to end the game and earn a save.
