HCAW opened the score in the top of the first inning off of starter Tom Stuifbergen.
He gave up a lead-off double to Jeandro Tromp, who moved on a single by Delano Selassa and then scored when Berend Ruben also singled.
But hereafter, Stuifbergen recovered and struckout the next three hitters.
HCAW doubled its lead in the second inning.
Patrick Bok and Kevin Weijgertse opened with singles and the bases got loaded when Jeandro Tromp also singled with one out.
The latter was forced out on a grounder by Delano Selassa, but that also brought in Bok and made it a 2-0 score.

For DSS, Tino van Erk doubled with two outs in the bottom of the first inning, but was left behind.
The Haarlem-team was then retired in order in the second by starter Kaj Timmermans, but then scored three runs in the third at bat.
Tommy van de Sanden and Mitchel Dautzenberg led off with singles and Koen Halderman followed with a runscoring double.
The score was tied on a sacrifice fly by Odion Gouverneur and DSS took the lead when Tino van Erk singled.
From the third ining on, HCAW was held scoreless for five innings by Timmermans and relievers Donny Breek and Mike Groen (4 strikeouts), who both threw two innings.
Breek has to report on April 29 in Minor League Spring Training for the start of his professional career.
HCAW came close to tying the score in the fifth inning.
Berend Ruben led off with a walk and stole second base.
He then tried to score on a 2-out single by Seb Visser, but was eliminated at the plate.
In the seventh, Vince Rooi doubled for HCAW with two outs, but was left behind.
In the next inning, HCAW was able to come alongside off of reliever Reggie Bomberg.
Seb Visser and Roelie Henrique began with singles, then the first was forced out on a grounder by Kevin Weijgertse.
Pascal Zegwaard, who had taken over the catching for HCAW in the previous inning, then doubled to bring in Henrique.
Weijgertse also attempted to score, but was eliminated at the plate.
DSS immediately responded with three runs in its eighth at bat off of new pitcher Moreno Vork.
All runs were unearned.
Vork walked Mitchel Dautzenberg, then gave up a single to Koen Werkman.
Hereafter, an error followed on a force play-grounder by Odion Gouverneur, which led to a run.
A single by Tino van Erk and sacrifice fly by Omar Williams then brought in two more runs and made it a 6-3 score.
