Storks and Quick Amersfoort split games

THE HAGUE / AMERSFOORT (Neth.) -
Silicon Storks and Cityside Apartments Quick Amersfoort faced each other this weekend in another round of exhibition games.
There is one week left in the exhibition season.
The regular season opens on Thursday, April 26.
On Saturday (April 14), Storks played at home in The Hague and won 11-6.
On Sunday (April 15), it was Quick Amersfoort that won its home game with an 11-4 score.
In Saturday's game, Quick scored four runs in the first inning off of starter Martin Kram.
Later in the game, the team led 6-2, but Storks then turned the game around in its favor.
The team staged a rally and scored on homeruns by Aldi Guzman and Kendrick Delima, while Joran Berkhout contributed with a 3-run triple.
After five innings, Kram was relieved by José Moreno, who threw the next two innings.
Ricky Voorn and Kendrick Delima then both threw one inning to complete the game.
Jurjen van Zijl was the starter for Quick.
He was followed by Colin van Laar, Mark Kolner and Wesley Bernardus.
On Sunday, it was Quick Amersfoort that had a big rally.
The team opened the score with one run in the first inning, then rallied for seven runs in the fourth at bat off of starter Jurrian Koks.
Jelle Blaauw, Rick Kuipers and Rachid Engelhardt delivered runscoring singles, then Bryan Engelhardt added a 3-run homerun.
Storks then scored its first run in the fifth inning off of starter Jos de Jong when Runai Coran homered.
Quick reacted with three more runs to increase the lead to 11-1.
Later in the game, Storks scored three more runs off of reliever Jasper Popken when Giovanny Perez hit a 3-run homerun.
Koks, who threw four innings, was relieved by Nick Winkel (2 innings), Gijs Timmer (1 inning) and José Moreno (1 inning).
De Jong was succeeded on the mound by Brian van Laar (1 1/3 inning), Jasper Popken (1 2/3 inning) and Aaron Isenia (1 inning).
