With two outs in the top of the first inning, Jakub Malík singled.
Thereafter, Timmermans retired the next 13 batters in a row.
His third inning on the mound ended with a nice catch by short stop Dudley Leonora on a hard line drive by Martin Schneider.
In the fifth, Daniel Vavruša led off with a line drive into leftfield, but there, rookie Ademar Rifaela made a nice catch.
The Netherlands opened the score in the second inning off of Jan Tomek, who last season pitched in the Dutch big league for Curaçao Neptunus.
This year, he plays in the German Bundesliga for Munich-Haas Disciples.
Tomek gave up a lead-off triple to Gilmer Lampe, who scored the first run on a following grounder by Ademar Rifaela.
Hereafter, debuting Sicnarf Loopstok doubled in his first Orange at bat, but later stranded on third base.
The Netherlands added three runs in the fourth inning off of Tomáš Duffek.
With one out, the lefthander gave up a single to Ademar Rifaela, then got the bases loaded when he walked Sicnarf Loopstok and gave up another single to Dudley Leonora.
After an infield-fly accounted for the second out, Dwayne Kemp delivered a 2-run single.
Randolph Oduber followed with a runscoring single to increase the lead to 4-0.
Two more Orange-runs were scored in the fifth inning off of Lukáš Hlouch.
He gave up a lead-off single to Yurendell De Caster, then walked Gilmer Lampe.
With two outs, both scored on a single by Dudley Leonora.
The Netherlands lifted the lead to 6-0 in the sixth inning off the sixth Czech pitcher in this game, Ondřej Furko.
Dwayne Kemp led off with a double, then his pinch-runner Stijn van der Meer advanced on a single by Randolph Oduber and scored on a sacrifice fly by pinch-hitter Gianison Boekhoudt.

A defesive highlight came in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Czech leftfielder Matěj Hejma made a nice diving catch on a hit by lead-off hitter Stijn van der Meer.
In the sixth inning, veteran righthander Rob Cordemans took over the pitching from Kaj Timmermans.
With one out, he gave up singles to Jakub Hajtmar and Martin Schneider, but then was supported with a nice double play.
After lefthander Jim Ploeger had retired the side in the seventh, the Czechs scored three runs off of Kevin Heijstek with two outs in the eighth.
With one out, pinch-hitter Přemek Chroust doubled.
He advanced on a grounder, then scored on a single by Jakub Hajtmar.
Moments later, Martin Schneider followed with a 2-run homerun to narrow the deficit to 7-3.
In the top of the ninth, the Czechs scored another run off of Kevin Kelly.
With two outs, he also gave up a homerun, this time hit by Martin Mužik.
Despite a 7-4 lead for the Netherlands, it was decided to continue playing.
In the bottom of the ninth, Ondřej Satoria became the ninth Czech pitcher.
He began with a walk for Gianison Boekhoudt.
With one out, he also walked Ademar Rifaela and Dashenko Ricardo to load the bases.
Ricardo was forced on a following grounder by Dudley Leonora, but that also enabled Boekhoudt to score.
The grounder also ended the game, as Satoria had reached his pitch-count limit for today.
On Tuesday-evening (7:30 PM), the two teams will face each other again, but then in the opening game of the Super 6.
