Jurjen van Zijl was the starting pitcher for Quick Amersfoort. He made only his second appearance during the exhibition season after having recovered from an injury. Lefthander Brian van Laar took over from Van Zijl. Hereafter, Venezuelan righthander Luis Figuera Roman made his pitching-debut for Quick Amersfoort after he arrived last Thursday. Aaron Isenia and Mark Kolner also pitched for the home-team.
