Draci Brno took an early 2-0 lead, opening the score in the bottom of the second inning off of Neptunus-starter Diegomar Markwell.
In the meantime, Neptunus was held scoreless by Brno's American starter Wesley Roemer.
While Markwell recovered fine after the second inning, Neptunus simply was unable to do something back.
In the top of the fifth inning, Neptunus had two runners on base, but the at bat ended with a strikeout-caught-stealing-double-play.
In the bottom of the sixth, Brno got on base again off of reliever Berry van Driel.
Lead-off hitter Jakub Hajtmar's at bat was extended when a foul pop-fly was missed.
He then singled into rightfield where the ball ended up between three players.
However, he was then eliminated at second base trying to advance.
Hereafter, Petr Čech singled, but stranded on first base.
After being retired in order in the sixth at bat, Neptunus cut the deficit in half in the top of the seventh.
With one out, Gianison Boekhoudt homered to make it a 2-1 score.
Boekhoudt would be the lone baserunner for Neptunus in the last four innings.
Brno added another run in the bottom of the seventh off of Elton Koeiman.
With one out, Adam Hajtmar walked and moved on a 2-out single by Arnošt Dubový.
Moments later, Hajtmar scored on a single by Martin Schneider, but the inning ended due to another costly out at the basepaths.
Dubový tried to advance to third base, but was eliminated there, but that happened shortly after Hajtmar had scored to make it a 3-1 score.
While Brno already had won the game, the bottom of the ninth was still played and that produced the home team's fourth run.
With two outs, Adam Hajtmar singled and scored all the way from first base on a double by Filip Moštěk.
Hajtmar again scored shortly before an out was made on a base, as Moštěk tried to stretch his hit into a triple, but was eliminated at third base, ending the game.
