In its first game, Brasschaat rallied for six runs in the top of the first inning on only one basehit. Lead-off hitter Sam Buelens reached on an error. Buelens, who played professionally in the organization of the Toronto Blue Jays in 2015 and 2016 (Rookie League), then stole second base and scored the first run when Lucas Rizzi followed with a double. The bases got loaded when starting pitcher Jurgen Paesch walked next hitters Robin Roevens and Kenny Dom. Hereafter, Brasschaat added two runs when Yves Poesmans was hit by a pitch and Arno Bracke also walked. Now leading 3-0, the next two runs were scored on a wild pitch and a grounder by Maxim Arnouts lifted the lead to 6-0.

Brasschaat added five more runs in the second at bat. This time, the team collected four basehits, including runscoring doubles by Roevens and Arnouts. Two other runs were scored on errors. Buelens scored the first run when baserunner Rizzi stole second base and an error followed. Rizzo then scored on the double by Roevens. Hereafter, the bases got loaded when Dom walked and Poesmans singled. The latter was forced out on a grounder by Bracke, but that also brought in Roevens. When an error followed trying to complete a double play, Dom also scored. Bracke scored the fifth run in the inning on a 2-out double by Arnouts.

The Belgian squad increased the lead to 13-0 by scoring two more runs in the third, which were scored on a double by Kenny Dom. Brasschaat scored its last run in the fifth on a sacrifice fly by Bracke. That was the fourth run scored in this game by Lucas Rizzi, who was 3-for-3.

Brasschaat-starter Arthur Driessens retired all nine hitters he faced in the three innings he pitched. De Hazenkamp then left a runner on third base in the fourth at bat.

Trailing 14-0, De Hazenkamp scored its three runs in the bottom of the fifth. All three were unearned. Lead-off hitter Jackson Pietersz reached on an error and two outs followed. Pietersz then scored on a single by Lenko Elisabeth, who was the starting pitcher for De Hazenkamp on Saturday, but was one of the two catchers today. With the bases loaded, a single by former big league-player Rensver Jansen brought in two runs, but a strikeout then ended the game. Jansen played in the highest league for Sparta-Feyenoord and Neptunus.
