In the opener on Thursday at home in Rotterdam, Neptunus scored all its runs in the third inning.
Today, the team scored most of its runs before the third inning.
With that, the reigning champion now has scored eight of its nine runs scored so far in the first three at bats.
In the other eleven innings combined, Neptunus scored only once.
Neptunus got on base quickly in the top of the first inning off of starter Dion Steijl.
The lefthander walked lead-off hitter Stijn van der Meer, then gave up a single to Benjamin Dille.
The two moved on a wild pitch, then Van der Meer scored the first run on a grounder by Dwayne Kemp.
That moved Dille to third base and he went on to score the second run on a grounder by Dudley Leonora.
Neptunus doubled its lead by adding two more runs in the second inning.
This time, Gregory Muller led off with a single and scored on a following double by Ruendrick Piternella.
Hereafter, the rookie advanced to third base on a grounder by Jochem Koedijk and scored the next run on a single by Stijn van der Meer to make it a 4-0 score.
In the following six innings, Neptunus was unable to take more distance, as Dion Steijl recovered and threw four more fine innings.
The team left seven runners behind, six of them in scoring position.
In the third, Dudley Leonora led off with a single, but stranded on third base.
In the fourth, Jochem Koedijk and Stijn van der Meer both walked with one out, but they were left behind on second and third base.
After being retired in order in the fifth, Neptunus again left runners behind on second and third base in the sixth at bat.
Neptunus was retired in order again in the seventh by rookie Andrew Wanapa, who made his big league-debut.
The Rotterdam-squad then got two more baserunners in the eighth and this time, they stranded on first and second base.
In the top of the ninth inning, Neptunus was finally able to add another run when Dwayne Kemp homered with one out off of Daniel Vos, who also made his debut at the highest level.
Pioniers was silenced by righthander Orlando Yntema, who threw six strong innings.
He struckout eight hitters, walked one and gave up only three basehits.
The first basehit he gave up was hit with two outs in the bottom of the first inning by former teammate Steven Wharwood, who transfered from Neptunus to Pioniers in the off-season.
Pioniers got only two runners in scoring position off of Yntema.
In the second at bat, with one out, Mark Smit singled.
He stole second base with two outs, but then was left behind.
In the fifth inning, with two outs, Tyler Boersma (who also made his debut) reached on an error and advanced to second base on a single by Joey Eeman.
Hereafter, playing coach Mervin Gario flied out.
Rookie Jiorgeny Casimiri took over from Yntema in the seventh inning.
He gave up a lead-off single to Mark Smit, but then the Neptunus-defense turned a double play on a grounder by Glenn Bakker.
Last Thursday, Casimiri made his debut and threw two innings.
In both innings, he also got baserunners, but was supported both times with a double play.
In the eighth inning, Pioniers scored its lone run, off of Casimiri.
Tyler Boersma then led off with a walk, moved on an one-out single by Mervin Gario and scored on a 2-out single by Leandro Anasagasti to make it a 4-1 score.

And now he recorded an RBI-single in his first at bat at the highest level.
Loek van Mil pitched the ninth inning for Neptunus.
With two outs, he gave up an infield-hit to Duco Nuijten, but then closed with a strikeout.
