Twins Oosterhout opened the score in the bottom of the first inning, but it was Storks that got into scoring position first.
Storks then scored its lone run in the eighth inning, but already trailed 8-0 at that moment.
In the top of the first inning, Kevin Nieveld led off with an infield-hit off of starter Nick Veale.
Nieveld moved on a sacrifice bunt by Jurrriaan Dijk and a grounder by Luuk Visser, but stranded on third base when Veale closed with a strikeout.
It was only the fourth time this season that Nieveld was the lead-off hitter in the starting line-up.
In all other games, short stop Giovanny Perez had been the lead-off hitter.
He batted in fifth place today.
Twins then struck with two runs in the bottom of the first inning off of starter Nick Winkel.
Both runs were unearned, as the Storks-defense committed two errors.
Lead-off hitter Joshua Zara reached second base on an outfield-error and moved to third base on an one-out single by Dennis De Quint.
Zara then scored the first run when De Quint was forced out on a grounder by Jason Halman.
Next batter Yuki Yoshimura singled.
Moments later, Halman scored when an error was made on a grounder by Shurman Marlin.
Twins got a chance to do some additional scoring in the third and fourth inning.
In both at bats, Twins got its first two batters on base, but was unable to score.
In the third inning, runners were left behind on first and second base.
In the fourth, runners stranded on second and third base.
In the top of the fifth, it was Storks that left another runner in scoring position, this time on second base.
In the bottom of the fifth, Twins added a run.
With one out, Jason Halman and Yuki Yoshimura hit back-to-back doubles, resulting in the run.

Storks could have created a scoring opportunity in the top of the sixth.
Luuk Visser led off with a single, then a bunt followed by Glennton Poulo.
The ball was thrown to second base where Visser reached safely, while Poulo was credited with a bunt-single.
However, Visser overran second base and was eliminated after all.
Shortly hereafter, Poulo was eliminated at first base with a pick-off by pitcher Nick Veale.
With a 3-0 lead, Twins rallied for four runs in the bottom of the eighth to take a more convincing lead.
All runs again were unearned, as two costly errors contributed.
David van Heyningen took over the pitching and saw lead-off hitter Dennis De Quint reach on an error.
He moved on a single by Jason Halman, who was then eliminated in a double play.
With De Quint at third base, pinch-hitter Brian Biezen walked.
A double-steal led to a run.
After Biezen also had stolen third base, Jamie Verheyleweghen walked.
The inning could have been over hereafter when Nick Peels struckout.
However, the third strike was in the ground and a throwing error to first base followed, which led to the second run in the inning.
Van Heyningen then uncorked three wild pitches, which enabled both Verheyleweghen and Peels to score.
It lifted the lead to 7-0 and also brought in new pitcher José Moreno, who got an inning-ending flyout.
In the top of the eighth, Storks scored its lone run off of reliever Jan Evertse.
He gave up a lead-off single to Kevin Nieveld, then got the bases loaded when Jurriaan Dijk walked and Luuk Visser also singled.
Nieveld scored on a grounder by Glennton Poulo, but that was to be it for the team from The Hague.
Twins got the run back in its eighth.
Stijn Janssens led off with a triple and scored on a grounder by Jason Halman.
Storks got two baserunners in the top of the ninth off of new pitcher Raf Cocu, but he closed the game with a strikeout.
