All nine players in the Amsterdam line-up hit a basehit, eight of them hit at least two!
The lone player with only one basehit was Kenny Berkenbosch, but his one was a homerun.
Eight players scored at least once and eight players batted in at least one run.
The team was led by Victor Draijer, who was 4-for-5 with a double and triple.
He only missed the homerun to hit for-the-cycle.
Gilmer Lampe, Linoy Croes and Delano Selassa all produced three basehits.
Lampe hit another double to raise his league-lead to 12.
In today's game, Amsterdam Pirates produced seven doubles, including two by Linoy Croes.
The seven doubles are the most in one game this season by one team.
Remarkable enough, Pirates led this category in seven of the previous nine seasons and has done so since 2016.
In 2013, Amsterdam Pirates hit the most doubles in one game with 11, which was done against UVV.
Before the game, Amsterdam Head Coach Brian Finnegan had to adjust his starting line-up somewhat at the last moment.
He already missed outfielder Denzel Richardson due to a strained oblique.
Shortly before the game, infielder Niels van Weert stayed behind in the locker room as he fell ill.
With that, Aidan Finnegan started at second base, while Delano Selassa moved to third base and rookie Chris Stuart was penciled down as designated hitter.
With two outs in the top of the first inning, Gilmer Lampe hit his league-leading twelfth double for Amsterdam Pirates and stole third base, but was left behind.
Amsterdam then opened the score with two runs in the second at bat off of starting pitcher Tim Halderman.
Linoy Croes led off with a double, but could not advance on an infield-hit by Delano Selassa.
Croes then did advance and even scored when Victor Draijer followed with a single.
With runners at the corners, the second run was added when Chris Stuart hit his first big league-basehit.

In the third inning, Amsterdam got its first two batters to reach second and third base.
Max Clarijs led off with a single and advanced on an outfield-error.
He then moved to third base when next batter Gilmer Lampe singled, who himself ended up on second base on another error in the outfield.
They stranded, as the next three batters were retired.
A run was added in the fourth.
Victor Draijer led off with a triple, then scored on an one-out double by Aidan Finnegan.
Later in the inning, Amsterdam left three runners behind.
In the first four innings, DSS got into scoring position twice off of Amsterdam-starter Jim Ploeger.
In the third inning, the lefthander gave up a lead-off single to Diamond Silberie, who moved to second base on a sacrifice bunt by Mitchel Dautzenberg, but then was left behind.
In the fourth, another runner stranded on second base.
With two outs, Brian Raap was hit by a pitch and moved on an infield-hit by Devano Pieter, but Ploeger then closed with a strikeout.
Amsterdam Pirates took more distance with a 5-run rally on six basehits (four doubles) in the top of the fifth.
The first three batters all hit a double.
Linoy Croes and Delano Selassa hit back-to-back doubles, resulting in a run and a pitching change.
Sander Helmendach took over and gave up the third consecutive double, which was hit by Victor Draijer.
With one out, Aidan Finnegan and Roelie Henrique hit runscoring singles, then Max Clarijs delivered a 2-run double to raise the lead to 8-0.
With Clarijs on second base and two outs, Kenny Berkenbosch walked.
After completion of this at bat, DSS-catcher Brian Raap argued with Home Plate Umpire Niek Elshof and was ejected.
Moments later, the inning ended with a groundout.
Trailing 8-0, DSS scored twice with two outs in the bottom of the sixth.
Ibrahin Redan led off with a single.
After Jim Ploeger struckout the next two batters, he gave up a homerun to Devano Pieter, which made it an 8-2 score.
For Pieter, this was his first homerun since June 3, 2017.
On that day, he hit his first big league-homerun, also at home and also against Amsterdam Pirates.

In the top of the seventh, Pirates scored three more runs, which were all unearned.
Lead-off hitter Aidan Finnegan was hit by a pitch.
With two outs, Gilmer Lampe singled and the inning then appeared to end when Kenny Berkenbosch grounded towards third base.
But an error was made and a run was scored.
Linoy Croes followed with a runscoring single, which led to the next pitching change.
Robyn Clara took over and was greeted with an RBI-single from Delano Selassa that lifted the lead to 11-2.
Pirates again scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning.
Max Clarijs led off with a walk and advanced on a wild pitch.
With one out, Kenny Berkenbosch hit a homerun.
With that, Berkenbosch became the last player of the starting line-up to hit a basehit, which also was the 20th in the game for his team.
With two outs, Delano Selassa reached on an error, advanced on the fourth basehit in the game by Victor Draijer and scored on a single by Chris Stuart.
Tom Stuifbergen took over the Amsterdam-pitching in the seventh inning and retired the side.
The righthander then gave up singles to Daniel Heiligers and Devano Pieter (both with one out) in the eighth.
Heiligers tried to advance to third base on Pieter's single, but was eliminated there.
Pieter was 3-for-4 for DSS.
A flyout ended the at bat.
Mike Groen (who last season played for DSS) closed the game for Amsterdam in the ninth.
He gave up a lead-off single to Diamond Silberie, but two grounders and a flyout ended the inning and the game.
