In the top of the sixth, Quick made it a 2-run difference again when Bryan Engelhardt led off with his fifth homerun of the season.
Trailing 4-2, Amsterdam Pirates rallied for three runs with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to take 5-4 lead.
Brian van Laar took over the Quick-pitching from his twin-brother Colin van Laar, but got the bases loaded with two outs.

After Mike Groen struckout the side in the top of the ninth, Amsterdam Pirates got its final chance to erase the deficit.
Jesse Aussems led off with a walk, but with one out, his pinch-runner Kit Gijsbers was forced out on a grounder by Max Clarijs.
Hereafter, Gilmer Lampe walked, but the inning and the game then ended with Kenny Berkenbosch popped out.
