Twins Oosterhout opened the score with one run in the top of the first inning.
That could have been more, but the team left three runners behind.
Joshua Zara and Stijn Janssens led off the game with a single off of starter Juan Carlos Sulbaran, then advanced on a wild pitch.
Zara then scored the first run on a sacrifice fly by Dennis De Quint.
Hereafter, the bases got loaded when Jason Halman singled and Yuki Yoshimura walked.
But three runners were left behind, as Sulbaran closed the inning with two strikeouts.
DSS got a chance to do something back with two outs off of starter Yuto Onodera.
The Japanese lefthander struckout the first two batters he faced, but then gave up singles to Ibrahin Redan and Brian Raap.
The two advanced on a wild pitch, but Onodera then closed with another strikeout.
Twins stranded a runner on third base in the top of the third inning.
With two outs, Yuki Yoshimura walked and he moved to third base when an outfield-error followed a single by Shurman Marlin.
A flyout then ended the at bat.
In the top of the fifth, Twins was more successful and doubled its lead.
Stijn Janssens led off with a walk and scored when Dennis De Quint followed with a double.
That marked the end for Juan Carlos Sulbaran, who was replaced by Robyn Clara.
He gave up an infield-hit to Jason Halman, which kept De Quint at second base.
The two runners moved on a sacrifice bunt by Yuki Yoshimura, but then were left behind.
DSS cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Koen Halderman led off with a double and Diamond Silberie singled, which led to runners at the corners.
Halderman then scored when a pop-fly by Mitchel Dautzenberg ended in an error.
Hereafter, Silberie was forced out on third base on a bunt by Leandro Anasagasti.
With runners on first and second base, Ibrahin Redan was called out strikes, argued and was ejected by Home Plate Umpire Stenar van Groningen Schinkel.

Twins got the run back in the sixth inning.
With two outs, Joshua Zara walked, advanced on a passed ball and scored on a double by Stijn Janssens.
With a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, rookie Koen Postelmans took over for Yuto Onodera, who struckout ten batters.
Postelmans gave up a lead-off single to Koen Halderman, but was then supported with a double play.
In the top of the eighth inning, Twins took more distance by adding three unearned runs off of reliever Alexander Valdez.
Lead-off hitter Brian Biezen reached on an error, then moved to third base on a following bunt-single by Nick Peels.
Valdez struckout the next two batters, but then got the bases loaded when he walked Dennis De Quint.
The bases were cleared on a 3-run double by Jason Halman, which lifted the lead to 6-1.
In the bottom of the eighth, DSS narrowed the deficit to 6-3, but also left three runners behind.
New pitcher Marvin Brown walked lead-off hitter Leandro Anasagasti, then gave up a single to Runai Coran.
Shortly thereafter, Coran was picked off first base by Brown, who then walked Brian Raap.
After Brown had struckout Aldi Guzman, he gave up a 2-out, runscoring single to Devano Pieter.
The bases got loaded when the lefthander walked pinch-hitter Donny Kuijper.
That led to another pitching change.
With the bases loaded, Raf Cocu entered in a save-situation.
He faced Koen Halderman, who delivered a runscoring single.
One pitch earlier during Halderman's at bat, a strike was called, which led to an argument from DSS Hitting Coach Dirk van 't Klooster, who then was ejected.
After Halderman had singled, the bases were still loaded, but the inning ended when Diamon Silberie grounded out.
That also ended the game, as the 10:30 curfew-time had been reached.
According to the league-rules, no new inning may then be started.
