Quick Amersfoort reached base early, but left a runner behind in scoring position in both the first and second inning.
The team then rallied for five runs on six basehits in the top of the third inning and from there took more distance en route to a convincing victory.
In the third, Storks-starter Sem Lauf walked lead-off hitter Sam van der Ploeg, then gave up a single to Joran Berkhout.
With runners at the corners, the first run was scored when next batter Rachid Engelhardt also singled.
Hereafter, his brother Bryan Engelhardt hit the ball over the fence in rightfield for a 3-run homerun to give Quick Amersfoort an early comfortable lead.
The scoring wasn't over yet.
Jan-Willem Geerts followed with an infield-hit, then scored on a double by Taylor Clemensia to make it a 5-0 score.
Jules Cremer added the sixth basehit in the inning, but then, a flyout, force out and another flyout ended the inning.
In the fourth inning, off of new pitcher José Moreno, Quick left another runner behind in scoring position.
The team then added a run in the fifth.
With one out, Jules Cremer walked and later scored from second base on a wild pitch.
Storks was silenced by Quick-starter Colin van Laar.
The lefthander struckout eight batters and gave up only one basehit in the six innings he pitched.
Van Laar retired the first eleven batters he faced, but with two outs in the fourth inning he hit Kevin Nieveld with a pitch.
Hereafter, Kris Morris connected for the first basehit for Storks.
Van Laar got the bases loaded when he walked Luuk Visser, but he then closed with a strikeout.
He retired the side again in the next two innings.

In the top of the sixth, Quick Amersfoort scored four runs to lift the lead to 10-0.
Stephon Mohamed took over the pitching for Storks, but he got the bases loaded quickly.
He walked Joran Berkhout, gave up a single to Rachid Engelhardt, then also walked Bryan Engelhardt.
Another pitching change followed, as second baseman Kevin Nieveld took the mound.
But he walked Jan-Willem Geerts.
After an infield-fly, the next run was scored on a single by Jules Cremer and a walk for Remian Denis led to another run.
With the bases still loaded, a sacrifice fly by Jordy Burger made it a 10-0 score.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, Storks initially avoided a 10-run difference, mercy-rule loss when it scored an unearned run.
T'Shawn James became the new pitcher for Quick, but he saw lead-off hitter Kris Morris reach on an error, then walked Luuk Visser.
A force play-grounder by Chris Langenkamp led to the first out, but when an error followed in an attempt to complete a double play, Storks got runners on second and third base.
Visser then scored on a grounder by Krisztián Tóth.
Quick got another 10-run difference lead (and more) in the top of the eighth.
Dakota van der Heyde and Jules Cremer led off with singles.
With runners on first and third base, Amar van Zwieten was inserted as pinch-hitter.
Van Zwieten, who made his big league-debut, delivered a runscoring single to make it an 11-1 score.
With one out, a double by Sam van der Ploeg and a single by Joran Berkhout increased the lead to 13-1.
This time, Quick hold onto the mercy-rule lead, despite giving up a run in the bottom of the eighth.
New pitcher Mitchell Berghmans gave up a lead-off single to Roy Winkel, who later scored on a wld pitch.
