The first six innings of the game remained scoreless.
HCAW-starter Kaj Timmermans was pitching a No-Hitter, but was not supported with some runs.
Finally, in the seventh, HCAW scored what would be the lone run.
It was now up to Timmermans to not only keep his No-Hitter intact, but also to upheld the minimal lead.
The No-Hitter ended in the ninth inning.
DSS got into scoring position in the fourth and fifth inning.
In the fourth, lead-off hitter Devano Pieter reached on an error and moved on a sacrifice bunt by Diamond Silberie.
With two outs, Ibrahin Redan walked, but a flyout ended the at bat.
In the fifth, Tino van Erk and Runai Coran began with walks.
The two advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Koen Werkman.
They stranded on second and third base.
HCAW got an opportunity to open the score in the bottom of the first inning off of starter Alexander Valdez, but left three runners behind.
With one out, the bases got loaded when Bob van der Meer walked, Oliver van der Wijst Severino singled and Rodney Daal also walked.
A strikeout and foul-out followed.
In the third inning, Jeandro Tromp led off with a single for the home-team, but was caught stealing.
In the fourth, with one out, Arhur Lugtmeijer and Berend Ruben both singled, but a double play ended the at bat.
HCAW got into scoring position again in the fifth.
With two outs, Bob van der Meer walked and stole second, but Valdez closed with a strikeout.
Off of new pitcher Lars Werkman, Rodney Daal led off with a single in the bottom of the sixth.
With two outs, he was forced out on second base.
HCAW then finally opened the score in the bottom of the seventh without hitting a basehit, as an error resulted in the run.
Pinch-hitter Ruendrick Piternella led off with a walk, which led to a pitching change, as Moreno Vork took over.
He saw Piternella move into scoring position via a sacrifice bunt by Norbert Jongerius.
Next, a throwing error followed on a sacrifice bunt by Jeandro Tromp, which enabled Piternella to score.
With Tromp on second base, an error was made on a pop-fly by Bob van der Meer.
The two runners were left behind.
In the top of the ninth inning, Kaj Timmermans returned to the mound with still only an 1-0 lead.
Pinch-hitter Aldi Guzman led off with a walk, but his pinch-runner Odion Gouverneur was caught stealing in a rundown after a pick-off.
However, Timmermans then also walked next batter Leandro Anasagasti.
With one out, he then faced Ibrahin Redan, who hit the ball up the middle for a basehit to end the No-Hitter!
It also ended the afternoon for Timmermans (who threw 118 pitches), who was relieved by rookie Arij Fransen.
With runners on first and second base, Koen Halderman hit the ball into righfield where it was caught by Ruendrick Piternella.
He threw the ball back to the infield, where an appeal was made at second base, as it was stated by HCAW that Anasagasti had left second base too early to advance to third base.
Anasagasti was indeed ruled out and that ended the game.
A discussion regarding the call followed, but it was upheld and so, the game ended with a rare double play.
