It was Quick Amersfoort that opened the score with two runs in the first inning, but that was to be it for the home-team.
Storks came alongside in the third inning, took more distance in the middle innings and scored six more to reach a 10-run difference, win 12-2 and end the game via the mercy-rule.
It was the first time that Storks recorded a mercy-rule victory since returning to the big league last season.
In the bottom of the first inning, Quick Amersfoort scored twice off of starter Nick Winkel.
Joran Berkhout led off with a single and Rachid Engelhardt walked.
The two moved on a grounder by Bryan Engelhardt, then respectively scored on a sacrifice fly by Jan-Willem Geerts and a triple by Jules Cremer.
Hereafter, Remian Denis walked, but two runners were left behind.
Quick Amersfoort was held scoreless in the remainder of the game, despite getting several runners in scoring position.
Storks left a runner behind on second base in the second inning off of starter Taylor Clemensia, but then came alongside in the third at bat, scoring two unearned runs.
With two outs, Kevin Nieveld singled, then Clemensia walked Luuk Visser and Kris Morris.
With the bases loaded, an error was made on a pop-fly by Joost van den Bergh, which led to two runs.
After Quick left runners behind on first and second base in the bottom of the third, Storks took the lead in the fourth.
The team scored once, but that could have been more, as it got the bases loaded with no outs.
Jurriaan Dijk led off with a walk, then Milo Botman singled and Roy Winkel was hit by a pitch.
With three runners on base, Brian van Laar took over the pitching from Clemensia.
The lefthander walked Krisztián Tóth, which gave Storks a 3-2 lead.
But hereafter, a grounder led to a force out at the plate, followed by a strikeout and groundout.

In the bottom of the fourth, it was Quick that got into scoring position with no outs, but failed to score.
Jordy Burger led off with a single and when an outfield-error followed, he was able to reach third base.
After next batter Sam van der Ploeg had walked, Joran Berkhout flied out to rightfielder Milo Botman.
Burger took off from third base in an attempt to score, but was eliminated at the plate on a nice throw from Botman to catcher Jurriaan Dijk.
In the fifth, Quick left runners behind on first and second base.
Storks then took some more distance by scoring three runs with two outs in the top of the sixth.
With one out, Roy Winkel singled and with two outs, the bases got loaded when Kevin Nieveld and Luuk Visser both walked.
A run was scored on a wild pitch from Brian van Laar, then Kris Morris followed with a 2-run single that lifted the lead to 6-2.
In the bottom of the sixth, there was another scoring opportunity for Quick Amersfoort.
When Jordy Burger led off with a walk, Jurrian Koks was inserted to take over from Nick Winkel.
He gave up a single to Sam van der Ploeg which led to runners on second and third base.
With two outs and first base open, powerhitter Bryan Engelhardt was walked intentionally.
A grounder ended the at bat.
Storks added another run in the seventh.
Giovanny Perez led off with a walk, then scored on a sacrifice fly, which also led to an inning-ending double play.
In the bottom of the seventh, the Storks-defense made its second double play.
With a 7-2 lead, Storks decided the game with a 5-run rally in the top of the eighth inning.
Kevin Nieveld and Luuk Visser led off with singles, then the bases got loaded when Kris Morris walked.
Hereafter, Mark Kolner became the new pitcher for Quick.
He walked Joost van den Bergh, which brought in a run, then Giovanny Perez delivered a 2-run ground-rule double.
Jurriaan Dijk followed with a sacrifice fly, then a single by Stephon Mohamed led to the next run and made it a 12-2 score.
In the bottom of the eighth, Jurrian Koks retired the side to end the game and earn a 3-inning save.
