At Stade St. Exupéry at Terrain Pierre-Rolland, Neptunus today faced lefthander Esteban Prioul.
He was supported with a run in the first inning off of Neptunus-starter Misja Harcksen.
The righthander returned to Neptunus after having pitched for Twins Oosterhout last year.

In the top of the second inning, Neptunus was able to come alongside off of Prioul.
However, the French opponent scored three runs in the third at bat off Harcksen to re-take the lead.
With two outs, Harcksen was relieved by Berry van Driel, who gave up an additional run in the third inning.
Trailing 5-1, Neptunus narrowed the deficit to 5-4 in the top of the fifth inning when Gianison Boekhoudt hit a 3-run homerun.
It was his second homerun of the series, as he also had hit one in the opener on Friday-evening.
In the bottom of the fifth, Boekhoudt, who is a catcher, became the new pitcher for Neptunus.
Last year, he pitched the eleventh and twelfth inning of the final game of the regular season for Neptunus against L&D Amsterdam Pirates.
Neptunus won 8-6 and Boekhoudt was the winning pitcher.
Boekhoudt threw a scoreless fifth inning, but then gave up two runs in the sixth that increased Rouen's lead to 7-4.
In the top of the seventh, Neptunus came alongside for the second time.
With the bases loaded, Dudley Leonora connected for a 3-run double that made it a 7-7 score.
In the bottom of the seventh, Kevin Kelly took the mound for Neptunus.
Last year, the righthander pitched for Pirati dei Rimini in the Italian Baseball League.
After completion of the Italian season, Kelly re-joined Neptunus for whom he then pitched in the postseason.
Kelly gave up a homerun to Maxime Lefevre, which in a normal game would have been a walk-off homerun.
However, in this case, it was decided to play the entire inning.
