Amsterdam Pirates collected 14 basehits in tonight's game, including three by Victor Draijer, one of them being a double.
Draijer scored twice and batted in three.
With that, he accounted for half the run-production of the home-team.
Denzel Richardson batted in two runs, while Gilmer Lampe hit two doubles.
Amsterdam-starter Kevin Heijstek had a fine outing for the home-team.
The righthander struckout nine batters, walked only one and gave up only three basehits in the six innings he pitched.
Two of these hits were recorded in the top of the first inning.
With one out, Yuki Yoshimura singled and with two outs, Jason Halman also singled.
Yoshimura was able to continue running to third base when an outfield-error was made.
The inning ended when Halman was forced out on a grounder by Stijn Janssens.
The Amsterdam-defense also made two errors in the second inning which gave Twins another runner in scoring position.
Lead-off hitter Shurman Marlin reached on an error, but was caught stealing.
Next batter Jamie Verheyleweghen walked.
With one out, he then moved to second base when a throwing error was made by the catcher on a pick-off to first base after the batter struckout.
But the Belgian player stranded on second base, as Heijstek closed with another strikeout.
Heijstek retired the side in three of the next four innings.
Amsterdam Pirates opened the score with two runs in the bottom of the first inning off of Australian righthander Nick Veale.

However, the inning wasn't over yet.
With two outs, Delano Selassa and Linoy Croes walked, then both scored when Victor Draijer followed with a double down the leftfield-line.
Moments later, Draijer stole third base and scored himself on a single by Aidan Finnegan.
The eighth run was scored in the fourth inning, also with two outs.

Twins turned another double play in the fifth and Pirates stranded two runners in this at bat, but then another run was scored in the sixth.
In this at bat, Marvin Brown took over the pitching for Twins.
He walked lead-off hitter Denzel Richardson and with one out, he got the bases loaded when he gave up a single to Delano Selassa and walked Linoy Croes.
Moments later, Richardson scored on a force play-grounder by Victor Draijer.
Amsterdam Pirates went to the bullpen in the top of the seventh, as Jhan Rifaela took over.
With two outs, he gave up a single to Jamie Verheyleweghen, but then closed with a strikeout.
In the bottom of the seventh, Amsterdam reached the 10-run difference on a walk-off error that followed a walk-off double and an out at the plate.
With one out, Niels van Weert walked.
He was eliminated at the plate trying to score on a double by Gilmer Lampe, who was able to continue running and score.
After Van Weert was eliminated a throwing error towards second base followed, which enabled Lampe to move to third base.
As the ball ended up in centerfield, Lampe continued to the plate.
The ball was thrown back and Lampe also appeared to be eliminated, but another throwing error followed and so, he scored the tenth run.
And this crazy play also ended the game, as the 10-run difference had been reached.
