History
This is the second game to be played in the European Baseball Series, which has its inaugural edition this year.
In the European Baseball Series, the national teams of the Netherlands and Italy will meet annually in a 6-game series. Three games will be scheduled in the Netherlands and three in Italy.
This year, the first three games, to be played on Friday, July 7, Saturday, July 8 and Sunday July, 9, will all be played in Rotterdam (The Netherlands). Tonight's game starts at 7:30 PM, the other two will begin at 1:00 PM.
The next three games are scheduled to be played on three different locations in Italy. On Monday, July 10 at Grosseto. On Tuesday, July 11 at Nettuno and on Wednesday, July 12 in Messina on Sicily. The first two games start at 9:00 PM, the third one begins at 6:00 PM.
Yesterday, the first game was played in Rotterdam.
