The men softball-team of Quick Amersfoort has been nominated for the title Sports Team of the Year in the Municipality of Amersfoort.

On Monday, November 26, the ninth edition of the annual Amersfoorts Sportgala will be organized in Flint Theater in Amersfoort.
During the event, the Male and Female Sports Atlete of the Year will be chosen, as well as the Sports Team of the Year, Sports Talent of the Year and Sports Club of the Year.
Quick Amersfoort is one of three teams nominated for Sports Team of the Year.
By capturing the Dutch Championship-title, a successful season ended for the team.
In September, in Prague (Czech Republic), Quick Amersfoort won the European ESF Cup by winning 6-3 in the Final against Hoboken Pioneers from Belgium.
It was the second time that Quick won this Cup.
The first time was two years ago when the event took place in Azzano (Italy).
