In the opener, Lindsey Meadows struckout only two, but also gave up only five basehits in the 5-inning contest, which was shortened because of the 7-run difference mercy-rule. Olympia Haarlem reached third base two times, but failed to score. In the second inning, Lyanne Horeman led off with a single, but later stranded at third. In the fourth, Kim Ongena reached on an error and Judith Diepeveen singled with one out, but this time runners were left at first and third base.

Tex Town Tigers started their first game well with a 3-run rally on four hits in the first inning. Britt Vonk led off with a triple off German national team-pitcher Jutta Lehmeyer, who made her big league-debut. On the following throw back to the infield, Vonk even was able to score the first run. With two outs, Karin Tuk singled and advanced on an error, then scored when next batter Lindsey Meadows also singled. She advanced on a infield-hit by Swedish player Annakarin Solèn Westling, who in 2004 already played 15 games in the Dutch big league, while playing for Amsterdam Pirates. Next, a throwing error followed on a grounder by Nadine Marinus to make it 3-0.

Tex Town Tigers added a run in the second inning when Britt Vonk reached on a bunt-single and later scored on a 2-out single by German player Breedge Quinn. After Olympia Haarlem turned a double play in the third inning and TTT itself stranded a runner at third base in the fourth, they reached the seven-run difference in the home of the fifth inning. Karin Tuk led off with a single, then Lindsey Meadows was hit by a pitch. Annakarin Solèn Westling followed with an RBI-double, Meadows scored on a wild pitch and Solèn Westling scored the seventh run when she beat the throw to home on a grounder to first base by Nadine Marinus.

Game Two

In the second game, Tex Town Tigers was held to only three runs and seven hits by veteran pitcher Margot Mels. TTT opened the score in the second inning. Lindsey Meadows led off with an infield-hit, then scored on a triple by Annakarin Solèn Westling, who then again beat the throw to home on a grounder back to the pitcher by Nadine Marinus. TTT then got the bases loaded after a walk and a single, but two outs followed.

After leaving two more runners in the next two innings, Tex Town Tigers saw Olympia Haarlem narrow the deficit in the fourth inning. In the first inning, Judith Diepeveen and Monica Guranova singled with one out, but both stranded, then a runner was left on third base in the third inning, but in the fourth Olympia scored its first run of the season and the first under its new name. Kim Ongena reached base on a passed ball after striking out, then advanced to third when an error was made on a sac-bunt by Lyanne Horeman. A grounder by Meike Hylkema led to the run. In the fifth inning, Inge Consent reached on an infield-hit with two outs, as did Lyanne Horeman with two outs in the sixth, but both were left behind.

TTT got the run back in the fifth inning. Margot Mels hit lead-off batter Breedge Quinn with a pitch, who then stole second base and scored on an one-out single by Lindsey Meadows, who was 3-for-3. In the double-header, Meadows was 5-for-5, scored three runs and had two RBI's, besides being the winning pitcher in both games. In this game, she struckout nine batters and gave up five hits.
