THE HAGUE (Neth.) - L&D Amsterdam on Sunday trailed 2-0 after two innings, but collected 20 basehits to come alongside and win its second match-up of the season vs. ADO, beating them 10-4.

All nine starting players in the Amsterdam-line-up hit at least one basehit, with rightfielder Bas de Jong going 4-for-5 with four RBI's. Wesley Connor, who had four hits yesterday, today had three, just like Ryan Murphy and former ADO-player Maikel Benner. Except for Remco Draijer, all players also scored at least once. ADO produced ten basehits, including three by Rodrinov Faries, who yesterday left the game in the second inning after being hit by a pitch on his helmet.

ADO started with two productive at bats to take a 2-0 lead off Jos de Jong, who was the starting pitcher instead of the announced Pim Walsma, who later pitched in relief. Quensley Bazoer led off the first inning with a bunt-single, stole second base, advanced on the first big league basehit by Ludwin Obispo with one out and scored on a sac-fly by Haily de Palm. In the second inning, Dave Steward led off with a double, then scored on an one-out single by Rodrinov Faries, which was followed by an outfield-error.

Amsterdam stranded two runners in its first two at bats off lefthander Brent Henry, but the American then gave up two runs in the third inning that tied the score. With one out, Maikel Benner walked and Sidney de Jong doubled, then both scored on a single by Ryan Murphy.

Amsterdam then took hold of the game with a 5-run rally in the fifth inning with all runs being scored with two outs. Maikel Benner led off with a bunt-single, then sidney de Jong walked and Ryan Murphy also reached on a bunt-single to load the bases. Fausto Álvarez Rizo then grounded into a 3-2-4 double play, but Bas de Jong followed with a 2-run single to give Amsterdam a 4-2 lead. Marvin Bleij then also singled and both he and De Jong scored when Zaïr Koeiman followed with a 2-run double. It marked the end for Brent Henry, who successor Jeoffrey de Groot was greeted with an RBI-single by Remco Draijer, which made it 7-2.

In the next at bat, Amsterdam added two runs. With one out, Ryan Murphy walked and Fausto Álvarez Rizo doubled, then Bas de Jong delivered a 2-run single, but later stranded himself on third base. Now trailing, 9-2, ADO got one run back in its sixth off Pim Walsma, who took over the pitching for Jos de Jong. Walsma walked lead-off hitter Michel Korzeniewski, who then scored on a 2-out double by Rodrinov Faries. The Amsterdam-team got the run back immediately in the seventh inning. Wesley Connor led off with a double and later scored on a 2-out single by Ryan Murphy.

In the eighth, ADO scored its last run off new pitcher Mark Kan, who gave up a lead-off double to Haily de Palm (his first big league-hit) and then an one-out double to Dave Steward.
