Olympia Haarlem adds six new players to roster
Nederlands

HAARLEM (Neth.) - FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem has added six new players to its roster during the transfer-period that ended on Thursday (December) at 5 PM. Five players will not be back with the team next year.

Last year, Olympia Haarlem reached the Holland Series, but then lost the best-of-one Championship Final to Oolders Omaco Sparks Haarlem. This season, it was expected that Olympia Haarlem again was to be a candidate for the Final. As expected, the team qualified for the Play-Offs, but then was eliminated. Olympia Haarlem finished the regular season in a tie with Terrasvogels. After losing an one-game tiebreaker, the team ended in third place with a 21-14 record. In the Play-Offs, Olympia Haarlem lost all three games its played and was eliminated for the Final Round.

Stanley Doney returns as Head Coach of the team in 2017 and will be assisted again by Inge Duin and Kate Gentile. The latter also is available to play again, as she also did this season, appearing in nine games during the regular season.
