Roef! vs. FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem
The first two innings of this early Sunday-morning game remained scoreless, but both teams got runners in scoring position in the second at bat.

In the top of the second, Eva Voortman led off with a bunt-single for Olympia, then moved to third base on a sacrifice bunt by Dinet Oosting and a grounder by Brenda Beers. A squeeze-play followed, as Emma Wojcik bunted the ball in front of the catcher. Voortman raced towards the plate, but was tagged out by catcher Charlotte Haen.

For Roef!, Mikayla Endicott and Charlotte Haen singled with two outs, but the two were left behind.

Olympia then decided the game with a 5-run rally in the top of the third inning off of starter Marjolein Merkx, but four runs were unearned. With one out, Maranca Ham tripled and scored on a following single by Shareday Christina. A throwing error followed on an attempt to force out Christina at second base on a grounder by Jessie van Aalst, which led to runners on first and third base. With two outs, Van Aalst advanced on a passed ball, then Eva Voortman delivered a 2-run triple. Hereafter, Dinet Oosting walked and Brenda Beers then connected for a 2-run single to make it a 5-0 score. That also led to a pitching change, as Manon van Alebeek. She walked a batter, but then closed with a strikeout.

Roef! got one run back in its third off of Mariëlle Vleugels. Wies Ligtvoet led off with a single, then advanced to third base when a throwing error was made on a force play-grounder by Eva van Knegsel. Moments later, Ligtvoet scored on a sacrifice fly by Cindy van der Zanden, but that would be the lone run Roef! scored in this game.

Olympia Haarlem added two more runs in the fourth. The bases got loaded quickly when Cheska Ham, Rachel van Veen and Jessie van Aalst all walked. Hereafter, Marjolein Merkx re-entered as pitcher. She walked Stephanie Pearce, resulting in a run. Van Veen was then forced out at the plate on a grounder by Eva Voortman, but hereafter, another run was added on a sacrifice fly by Dinet Oosting.

DSS turned the game its way in the bottom of the third inning. Sophie Bugter and Noa Brand both began with walks and moved on a sacrifice bunt by Stephanie Ruiter. With first base open, an intentional walk was not opted. The two runners then scored when Areke Spel followed with a 3-run homerun to put DSS ahead. Terrasvogels vs. Barracudas
Terrasvogels decided the game against the Swiss squad with a long first inning, scoring ten runs on eight basehits, produced by 15 batters. Only three runs were earned, as two errors kept the rally going. The first run was scored very simple. Katharina Szalay led off with a walk and stole second base. Next batter Sanne Korpel also walked and the two advanced on a wild pitch. Another wild pitch followed and that accounted for the first run. Kimberly Jones followed with a runscoring single. With two outs, Terrasvogels added eight more runs in this at bat. Jones scored on a single by Dani Bonnet, who advanced on an outfield-error. After Jessica Waasdorp was hit by a pitch, Jeske Meewisse reached on an error, resulting in the next run. Moments later, Waasdorp scored on a wild pitch, Ella Krommendijk singled and Katharina Szalay batted in two runs with a double in her second at bat in the inning. The next run was scored on a single by Sanne Korpel, who then scored when Kimberly Jones hit an inside-the-park-2-run-homerun to lift the lead to 10-0. Kelly Koeman and Lizzie Clarijs then singled, but they stranded on second and third base.

Terrasvogels added three runs in the second inning, which were all scored with two outs. With one out, Jeske Meewisse singled and with two outs, Katharina Szalay walked. A single by Sanne Korpel and two wild pitches then accounted for the runs to make it a 13-0 score.

Lizzie Clarijs started for Terrasvogels as pitcher and retired the side in the first two at bats. In the third, Barracudas got the bases loaded, but was unable to score. With one out, Josianne Entner was hit by a pitch and Celine Welti reached on an error. A double-steal attempt followed, but Entner was caught stealing. The bases then got loaded when Lena Gfeller also was hit by a pitch and Ines Dübendorfer connected for the lone Swiss basehit. But the three runners stranded when a grounder ended the at bat.

In the bottom of the third, Terrasvogels scored two more runs to reach the 15-run difference and the game via the mercy-rule. With two outs and Jeske Meewisse (fielder's choice) on first base, Ella Krommendijk reached on an error and then Katharina Szalay delivered a walk-off, 2-run triple to end the game.

Szalay accounted for seven runs, she scored three and batted in four. Korpel scored three runs and batted in two, while Jones scored twice and had three runs batted in. With that, the top three batters of Terrasvogels accounted for eight runs, six basehits and batted in nine runs.

Oolders Omaco Sparks Haarlem vs. SK Joudrs Praha
This game was decisive for first place in Pool B. While this game was played between the two leading teams in this Pool, it surely wasn't the best one defensively, as a total of six errors were registered. Four of them were made by the Czech defense. The errors resulted in six unearned runs and so, it was fittingly that this game ended in a 4-4 tie.

Despite the tie, Sparks Haarlem finished in first place, as it had won its previous three games, while Joudrs had one loss entering this game. When Joudrs would have won, the teams would have ended in a tie and then the tournament-rules would have to be consulted for the tiebreaking rule to determine the ranking. But that wasn't needed.

However, in the top of the first inning, it appeared that the tiebreak-rules were needed, as Joudrs scored three unearned runs to take an early lead. Tereza Jakešová led off with a double and Veronika Klimplová followed with a single off of starter Leonella Elizabeth. An error on a grounder by Eva Rendlová loaded the bases. Jakešová was then forced out at the plate on a grounder by Julie Coufalová, but a walk for Adèla Weissová then gave Joudrs the lead. With the bases still loaded and two outs, two runs were added on two wild pitches.

In the bottom of the first inning, Sparks Haarlem answered with three runs of its own to come alongside. Kehli Washington and Anne Blaauwgeers led off with walks. After Washington had moved on a wild pitch, Kingsley Avery followed with a 2-run double. With one out and after Maaike Blaauwgeers had reached on an error, Avery scored the tying run when Jenny Kinburn also reached on an error to make it a 3-3 tie, but Sparks Haarlem would leave runners behind on second and third base.

The defense of Sparks Haarlem turned a double play in the top of the second inning, then took a 4-3 lead in the bottom of the at bat. With one out, Kehli Washington reached on an infield-hit and advanced on a throwing error, then Anne Blaauwgeers reached on a bunt-single. The bases got loaded when Kingsley Avery reached on an error in the infield, which was impossible to score on. Blaauwgeers was then forced out at third base on a grounder by Karin Tuk, but this time, Washington was able to score to put Sparks Haarlem ahead.

The lead was shortlived, as Joudrs came alongside in the top of the third, scoring another unearned run. With one out, veteran player Eva Rendlová reached on an infield-hit and Julie Coufalová walked. With two outs, an infield-hit by Anetta Prokopenková was followed by a throwing error, which led to a run and a 4-4 tie.

In the bottom of the third, Adèla Linková retired the side and that ended the game.

By finishing in first place, Sparks Haarlem became the first team to qualify for the Final.

FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem vs. Tex Town Tigers
By winning its third game earlier today, Olympia Haarlem and Tex Town Tigers were both unbeaten when this game began. With that, the winner of this game would become the second finalist. That winner was Olympia Haarlem, that shutout the organizing club with a 7-0 score.

Eva Voortman went the distance for Olympia Haarlem, struckout six batters and gave up only one basehit in the 4-inning game.

Olympia Haarlem struck with three runs in the bottom of the first inning off of Lindsey Meadows, which were all unearned due to two errors. Lead-off hitter Shareday Christina reached on an error, then the bases got loaded with one out when Mariëlle Vleugels and Jessie van Aalst both singled. With two outs, a throwing error by the catcher led to the first run, then Eva Voortman followed with a 2-run single to make it a 3-0 score.

After leaving the bases loaded in the second inning, Olympia Haarlem added a run in the third. With one out, Eva Voortman reached on a bunt-single and advanced on a grounder by Rachel van Veen. She then stole third base and scored when a throwing error followed. Hereafter, Stephanie Pearce walked, advanced on a passed ball, then tried to score on a single by Maranca Ham, but was eliminated at the plate on the strong throw from leftfielder Laura Wissink.

Olympia Haarlem scored three more runs with two outs in the fourth. With two outs and Brenda Beers (fielder's choice + wild pitch) on second base, Jessie van Aalst walked. The two scored when Dinet Oosting followed with a triple to make it a 7-0 score.

Eva Voortman allowed only four batters to reach base. After striking out the side in the first inning, she gave up an one-out single in the second inning to Laura Wissink, who then stranded on second base. In the third, Myrthe Smid reached on an error and Lizzy Uytendaal walked with two outs, but they also were left behind. And in the fourth, Voortman hit Nadine Marinus with a pitch, but then closed the inning with a strikeout.

De Glaskoning Twins vs. Germany
Germany had a productive first at bat, scoring three runs off of Sterre den Duijn, who threw a complete game for Twins and made her first pitching appearance in the tournament. Anneke Swierstra led off with a single, stole second base and moved to third base on a sacrifice bunt by Christina Poon. She then scored when Miriam Kemmer followed with a homerun. Next batter Lisa Marie Köllner then reached on an error and scored the third run in the at bat on a 2-out double by Lisa Kälblein.

Twins got two runs back in the bottom of the first inning. Imane Allou Issa led off with a double, then Bobbi Scheurkogel followed with a single. Allou Issa advanced to third base, then was able to score while Scheurkogel was eliminated trying to move to second base. With one out, Minke Blok homered to narrow the deficit to 3-2.

Sterre den Duijn retired the side in the top of the second inning, then Twins rallied for three runs in the home half. Ellinor Keepers led off with a walk, stole second base and advanced on a wild pitch, then Rose Mwaro walked, which led to a pitching change. Claudia Volkmann took over, saw Mwaro take second base on fielder's indifference and got the bases loaded when she walked Nina Oomes. A wild pitch followed, but Keepers was then eliminated trying to score, while the other two runners advanced. Imane Allou Issa then reached on an infield-hit, which loaded the bases again, as the two runners were unable to advance. Bobbi Scheurkogel followed with a 2-run single to put Twins ahead, 4-3. After Scheurkogel was caught stealing, Minke Blok added a runscoring single to bring in an insurance run and increase the lead to 5-3. A grounder by next batter Michelle van Bodegom then ended in an error, resulting in runners on second and third base. To set up a force play, powerhiter Claudia Kranendonk was walked intentionally, but a flyout then ended the inning.

Trailing 5-3, Germany made it a 5-4 score when Miriam Kemmer hit her second homerun in the game with one out. Hereafter, Lisa Marie Köllner singled and advanced on a throwing error, but was left behind.

Hereafter, Charlotte Haen singled and Maureen van Poorten followed with a 2-run single.

Twins got back into the game with a 4-run rally in the top of the fourth to narrow the deficit to 7-4. Bobbi Scheurkogel led off with a single, which brought in new pitcher Sophie Mollee. She got the bases loaded when Rose Mwaro also singled and Minke Blok walked. A following walk for Michelle van Bodegom then brought in a run. Moments later, Claudia Kranendonk underscored her offensive power when she cleared the bases with a 3-run triple. In the game for third place, Tex Town Tigers faced a 2-0 deficit halfway the fourth inning, but then led 4-2 after five complete innings. As there was still time left to start a new inning, the game continued. In the top of the fifth, the Czech opponent came alongside, but in the home half, Tex Town Tigers answered with a run to win 5-4 and finish in third place.

Joudrs opened the score in the top of the first inning off of Anna-Bè Bartels, who went the distance for Tex Town Tigers. Lead-off hitter Tereza Jakešová bunted towards the rightside of the infield. That ended in an error, which enabled her to reach second base. After moving on a grounder, she scored on a single by Julie Coufalová.

DSS vs. Terrasvogels
In the game for fifth and sixth place, Terrasvogels rallied for four runs in the top of the second inning. The team led 4-0 halfway the fourth inning, but failed to hold onto the lead. Opponent DSS rallied for three runs in the bottom of the fourth, then scored twice in the fifth to win 5-4 and finish in fifth place.

Terrasvogels left a runner on second base in the top of the first inning, then DSS saw a runner being eliminated at the plate in the bottom of the first. Noa Brand led off with a single and moved on a sacrifice bunt by Stephanie Ruiter and a bunt-single by Areke Spel. With runners on first and third base, Spel took off towards second base, while Brand ran towards the plate when the throw was made. However, the throw back to the plate was in time to eliminate Brand.

Terrasvogels then rallied for four runs in the top of the second inning off of Dagmar Bloeming, who went the distance for DSS. Suka Van Gurp led off with a triple, then scored on an one-out single by Rhowan Stuart. After the latter had stolen second base, Dani Bonnet walked. With two outs, Dervisa Mutic singled to bring in the second run. Bonnet moved to third base, while Mutic advanced on the throw to the plate. Moments later, Bonnet and Mutic both scored when Katharina Szalay followed with a single to increase the lead to 4-0. Szalay reached third base on a bunt-single by Kimberly Jones, but the two runners were then left behind.

Terrasvogels-pitcher Dani Bonnet retired the side in the bottom of the second. She gave up a lead-off single to Noa Brand in the third, but she was caught stealing to end that at bat.

Dagmar Bloeming retired the side in the third, then saw a runner strand on first base in the next inning.

In the bottom of the fourth, DSS struck with three runs and narrowed the deficit to 4-3. Stephanie Ruiter and Areke Spel led off with singles, then the bases got loaded when former Terrasvogels-player Lisa Waasdorp walked. A sacrifice fly by Sophie Bugter then brought in the first run and Denice van Dijk followed with a runscoring single. With runners on first and second base, Morgan Sampson reached on a bunt-single, but when a throwing error followed, Waasdorp was able to score. A strikeout and flyout ended the at bat, but Terrasvogels now led by only one run.

In the top of the fifth, Bloeming walked a batter with two outs, but she was left behind. DSS then decided the game moments later. Noa Brand led off with a single and moved on a sacrifice bunt by Stephanie Ruiter. To set up a force play and to take the bat out of the hands of powerhitter Areke Spel, an intentional walk followed. But hereafter, the bases got loaded when Lisa Waasdorp was hit by a pitch. Newcomer Sophie Bugter then connected well and hit a walk-off, 2-run double to give DSS a 5-4 win.
