In the second game, Sparks Haarlem rallied for five runs in the first inning, which were scored on two hig hits. Lead-off hitter Kehli Washington reached on an error and Maaike Blaauwgeers singled, then both scored on a triple by Jenny Kinburn. Hereafter, a very rare situation followed, as a double was hit, but the runner from third base was unable to score! Karin Tuk popped the ball up towards the short stop-area. It wasn't caught and while Kinburn had a chance to score, she remained at third base, but Tuk was able to advance to second base on an infield-double! Herafter, Anne Blaauwgeers connected well and drove the ball into leftfield for a 3-run, inside-the-park-homerun to lift the lead to 5-0.

Anne Blaauwgeers last homered on August 29, 2015 against DSS, which was an inside-the-park grand slam homerun! By the way, this was her eighth homerun at the big league-level, but the seventh inside-the-park-homerun in her career!

The Talent Team scored its lone run of the day in the bottom of the second inning. Uchenna Jong Loy led off with a single, advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Isa Smit and grounder by Nina Oomes, then scored on a single by Rhowan Stuart.

Sparks Haarlem reacted with two runs in the third inning. Anne Blaauwgeers led off with a single, advanced on a wild pitch and scored on a triple by Kingsley Avery. The latter then scored the next run on a grounder by Onaisha Franka.

A 3-run rally followed in the fourth at bat. With two outs, Karin Tuk delivered an RBI-double and later in the at bat, Tammie Lijbers contributed with a 2-run single. Anne Blaauwgeers scored her third run in the game in this inning.

In the fifth, Sparks Haarlem reached the 10-run difference for the second time today. Onaisha Franka and Virginie Anneveld began with singles, then went on to score on a single by Maaike Blaauwgeers and a force play-grounder by Jenny Kinburn.

Sparks Haarlem-pitcher Rebecca Soumeru retired the side in the third and fourth inning (five strikeouts), but saw the Talent Team get on base again in the bottom of the fifth. With one out, Rhowan Stuart walked and Lisa de Vries singled. They moved into scoring position via a sacrifice bunt by Emma de Brouwer, but they were left behind when the inning and the game ended with a strikeout.
