Eva Rendlová to play for DSS in Golden League

Experienced Czech outfielder Eva Rendlová will play for DSS this season in the Dutch Golden League.
Norman Ames, Head Coach of DSS, confirmed on Thursday-evening (April 5) that the Czech international player will be with the Haarlem-based team every two weeks.

Last weekend, Eva Rendová participated with SK Joudrs Praha in the annual J.C.J. Mastenbroek Tournament in Enschede.
There, she was the second-best hitter of the team with a .455 batting average (5-for-11), but led the squad with five runs batted in.
Joudrs shutout DSS 7-0 on Sunday and in that game, Rendlová was 3-for-3, hitting two homeruns!
Eva Rendlová, who turns 35 coming week, plays for Joudrs since 2003.
She also plays for several years now for the National Czech Team, with whom she won the Bronze Medal at the European Championship in 2009 in Valencia (Spain) and at the 2015 Championship in Rosmalen (Netherlands).
During last years European Championship in Italy, she hit .292 (7-for-24) with three doubles.
The Czech Team finished in fourth place.
Last season, Eva Rendlová batted .423 (41-for-97) for Joudrs in the regular season with nine doubles and six triples.
She scored 17 runs and batted in 29.
With Joudrs, she won the Czech Championship-title six times.
With the team, she also frequently participated in an European Cup-tournament.
In 2015, she won the Silver Medal with Joudrs at the European Cup Winners Cup at home in Prague.
A year later, the team also finished second in the European Premiere Cup, which then was held in Montegranaro (Italy).
Last year, Joudrs finished in third place last year at the European Premiere Cup in Haarlem (Netherlands).
Rendlová then batted .333 (9-for-27) with two triples and led the team with eight RBI's.
