    Roef! again wins Indoor Cup

 SCHIEDAM (Neth.) -
Roef! has won the international Indoor Cup-tournament in Schiedam for the second year in a row on Sunday (January 14).
Last year, the team from Moergestel won 6-1 in the Final against the Talent Team Holland.
This years Final against Terrasvogels was a thrilling game, which needed an extra inning.
Terrasvogels initially took a 4-0 lead in the top of the second inning, but Roef! answered with three runs in its second at bat.
After Terrasvogels has added a run in the fourth, Roef! took a 6-5 lead in the bottom of the fourth.
A productive fifth inning followed.
Terrasvogels rallied for three runs to retake the lead with an 8-6 score, but Roef! came alongside moments later.
In the top of the eight, Terrasvogels took the lead for the third time, 9-8.
But Roef! came alongside on an error in the bottom of the eighth.
With two outs, Roef! scored the winning run to win 10-9, thanks to a walk-off single by Kim Donkers.
For both teams, this was their fourth game of the day.
In the Semi-Final, Roef! recorded a 6-0 shutout against Euro Stars to reach the Final.
In its Semi-Final, Terrasvogels eliminated reigning Dutch champion FysioExpert Olympia Haarlem by winning 2-0.
Terrasvogels began the third day of the tournament with a 3-1 win against Chaos United (USA) to advance to the Quarter Final.
The team then eliminated Impact United (USA) by winning 4-0 to reach to Semi-Final against Olympia Haarlem.
For Roef!, the day began with a 6-2 victory against Arsenal United (USA) in the Play-Offs.
In the Quarter Final, Roef! then nipped Destroyers United (USA) 3-2 to move to the Semi-Final.
