The Men Team opened the score with one run in the top of the second inning off of Kirsten Scheele, who made her comeback in the Women Team. With one out, Emeron Lourens hit a double and Anthony Beaumont walked. A following sacrifice bunt by Matthew Scholten enabled both runners to advance two bases. With that, Lourens scored the first run.

In the bottom of the second inning, the Women Team got two runners in scoring position off of Selvinson Angeliste, who made his pitching debut in the Men Team. Karin Tuk led off with a walk, but was forced out on a grounder by Cindy van der Zanden. Next batter Yindi Beekveldt (who made her debut in the team) then walked. The two runners advanced on a wild pitch, but stranded on second and third base when Angeliste struckout the next two batters.

In the top of the third inning, the Men Team added three runs off of new pitcher Eva Voortman. The lefthander gave up a lead-off single to Quincy Jones, but he was eliminated on second base when he tried to stretch it into a double, thanks to a nice throw from rightfielder Jessie van Aalst. Next batter Gabriel Goderski singled and Choy Francisca walked. After a double-steal, a run was scored when Enio Kwas reached on an error. Hereafter, two more runs were added on a single by Niels van Amstel. The productive at bat continued with a single by Emeron Lourens, but then a force out and flyout ended the inning.

In the fourth inning, Jeroen Mulder and Anthony Beaumont from the Men Team were inserted in the defense of the Women Team as pitcher and catcher respectively. Mulder struckout eight batters and gave up only one basehit. That was a lead-off bunt-single by Ron Dix in the fourth, but he was caught stealing moments later.

The Women Team also reached base several times in this game, but was able to score only one run.

In the third inning, Brenda Beers led off with a walk, then Jessie van Aalst singled. Both were eliminated moments later. Beers when she tried to score on a wild pitch, Van Aalst on a grounder by Mariëlle Vleugels.

The Orange Women left a runner behind on first base in the fourth and fifth inning. The Team then scored its lone run in the sixth and got a chance to do some more scoring. Lead-off hitter Karin Tuk reached on an error, then Cindy van der Zanden walked. The two moved on a wild pitch and with one out, the bases got loaded when Charlotte Drijvers walked. A pitching change followed. Enio Kwas took over from Wesley Blonk, who had entered the game in the fifth. Kwas was greeted with a runscoring single from Rachel van Veen, which brought in Tuk and kept the bases loaded. Anthony Beaumont was the next batter, but his grounder ended in a force out at the plate. Three runners were left behind when Kwas closed with a strikeout.

Kwas retired the side in the bottom of the seventh to end the game.
