HAARLEM (Neth.) -
The remainder of the interrupted fourth Play-Off game between L&D Amsterdam Pirates and Corendon Kinheim, which was scheduled to be played on Monday-evening at Haarlem, has been postponed due to rain.
The remaining innings will now be played on Tuesday-evening at the Pim Mulier Stadium at Haarlem, meaning that an eventual fifth game has been moved from Tuesday to Wednesday-evening at Amsterdam.
The game was interrupted on Sunday-afternoon in the fourth inning by rain and was then canceled after a 10-minute delay.
The game will resume with Amsterdam Pirates leading 7-0 in the top of the fourth inning with a runner on first base and one out, while the batter has an 1-0 count.
Amsterdam leads the best-of-five Play-Off 2-1 and needs one win to become the second team to reach the Holland Series.
Last weekend, DOOR Neptunus became the first after sweeping Konica Minolta Pioniers.
To be continued.
