Game 3 Holland Series rains out

AMSTERDAM (Neth.) -
Game 3 of the best-of-seven Holland Series between L&D Amsterdam Pirates and Vaessen Pioniers was cancelled due to heavy rain on Thursday.
The game, to be played in Amsterdam, was scheduled to start in the evening at 7:45 PM, but was scrubbed in the afternoon as steady rain made the field unplayable.
The game is re-scheduled for Friday-evening, also starting at 7:45 PM.
Games 4 and 5 will be played on Saturday and Sunday, also at the site of L&D Amsterdam Pirates, both starting at 1:00 PM.
The last Holland Series-game that was cancelled due to weather/field-conditions was on October 6, 2008.
That day marked the recordsetting fourth time in that Series that a game between Corendon Kinheim and L&D Amsterdam Pirates rained out, all scheduled to be played in Haarlem.
Amsterdam went on to sweep Kinheim in three games of the then best-of-five final.
This is the 15th time in Holland Series-history that a game rained out.
