First home loss Pirates; Van 't Klooster 3 hits shy of 1000

League-leader L&D Amsterdam Pirates suffered its first home loss of the season, as it was shutout 8-0 by Corendon Kinheim on Saturday.
The loss ends a 12-game winning streak at home.
In today's game, rightfielder Dirk van 't Klooster hit three of Kinheim's 13 basehits and now needs only three hits to reach the 1000 mark in his big league-career, which he started in 1993 as a player of Amsterdam Pirates.
DOOR Neptunus won big at Mr. Cocker HCAW, 13-1, and now shares first place with Amsterdam.
Vaessen Pioniers handed Sparta-Feyenoord a big 14-2 loss and ADO was unable to hold onto a 3-run lead and lost 6-5 to UVV.
With the loss, ADO extended its losing streak to eleven games and now is officially eliminated for the Play-Offs.
