On Sunday, four more games had to be cancelled due to weather and field conditions.
From Saturday-evening on, it continued raining (sometimes heavily) throughout Sunday, resulting in the cancellation of the four scheduled games in the Dutch big league.
This brings the total to 15 cancelled games (included one that rained out twice) since July 14.
Four games have been made-up last week.
The four cancelled games of today will be made up as follows:
DOOR Neptunus vs. UVV was re-scheduled for tomorrow (Monday, July 25)
Corendon Kinheim vs. Mr. Cocker HCAW was re-scheduled for Tuesday, August 2
ADO vs. Vaessen Pioniers and L&D Amsterdam Pirates vs. Sparta-Feyenoord were moved to Tuesday, August 9, which is two days before the start of the Play-Offs.
Coming Tuesday, four more make-up games are scheduled.
Two of them originally were scheduled on Saturday, July 16, the other two on Sunday, July 17.
One of the Sunday-games was moved to the next day, but then also rained out and was also re-scheduled for Tuesday.
It will be busy days for the teams in the remaining weeks of the regular season with games scheduled almost every two days.
