THE HAGUE (Neth.) - After two close games (a 10-9 loss and a 3-2 win), Konica Minolta Pioniers won more comfortable today vs. ADO, 9-1 on Sunday to move into the top-four.

But it was ADO that opened the score in the second inning. After Pioniers had tied the score in the fourth inning, ADO got the bases loaded again in its fourth. Four consecutive batters walked, but none of them scored. With one out, Koen Meershoek walked, but then was caught stealing. Hereafter, Romeijn walked the next two batters and was relieved by Dave Draijer, who loaded the bases with another walk, but then a flyout followed to end the inning.
