HCAW closes in on top-four

Mr. Cocker HCAW is closing in on the current top-four, especially since Konica Minolta Pioniers lost 3-1 to Sparta-Feyenoord on Saturday-afternoon.
Playing at The Hague, HCAW trailed 4-2 when the ninth inning started, but then turned the game around and won 8-4.
At Haarlem, league-leader DOOR Neptunus handed second placed Corendon Kinheim a big 9-3 loss.
In the evening, L&D Amsterdam Pirates shutout Almere Magpies, 7-0.

At Haarlem, Neptunus took an early 2-0 lead in the first inning when Raily Legito hit a 2-run homerun.
Leading 3-0, Neptunus rallied for five runs in the sixth inning on three hits.
Two of the runs were scored on a single by Legito, who had five RBI's in this game and went 3-for-4.
Trailing 8-0, Kinheim scored three runs in the eighth inning.
At The Hague, HCAW took an 1-0 lead in the third inning, but then ADO scored three runs in the sixth at bat.
First, the tying run was scored on a passed ball, then Ludwin Obispo singled home two runs.
HCAW got one run back in the seventh, but ADO answered with a run in its seventh.
Trailing 4-2, HCAW rallied for six runs on only one hit in the top of the ninth when the ADO-defense fell apart and committed five errors.
At Rotterdam, Sparta-Feyenoord was outhit 7-6 by Pioniers, but scored runs in the second, fourth and sixth inning to take a 3-0 lead.
Pioniers scored its lone run in the seventh inning.
Winning pitcher José Ventura went the distance and struckout 12 batters.
At Almere, Pirates collected 10 basehits, including three by Kenny Berkenbosch, but led only 1-0 after six innings.
Winning pitcher Rob Cordemans gave up only two hits in seven innings, then Frank van Heijst completed the game.
