Last Sunday, Bobby Carrington played in both games of the double-header of the Valencia Astros against the Marlins Puerto Cruz.
The Astros won the opener 8-1, then the Marlins won the next game 14-9.
For Carrington, this were to be his last games for the Valencia-based team, as he is scheduled to arrive in Rotterdam (Netherlands) next Friday, April 1 to join the team of Sparta-Feyenoord.
In the evening, the Rotterdam-squad meets ADO in the opener of the 13th edition of the Hudson John Tournament.
Last Sunday, Carrington pitched the last two innings in the 8-1 victory of the Astros vs. the Marlins and retired all six batters he faced.
Trevor Caughey started for the Astros, threw seven innings and struckout eight batters.
In the second game, Carrington was used as a pinch-hitter in the sixth inning when the Astros scored five runs.
Carrington contributed with an RBI-single in this at bat.
When the inning started, the Astros were trailing 9-1.
After the Astros narrowed the deficit to 9-6, the Marlins scored five runs of their own in the eighth, before the Astros scored three more runs in the ninth inning.
