Neptunus takes 1st place on crazy Saturday

DOOR Neptunus moved into first place on a wild Saturday!
In total, 59 runs were scored in the four games, 87 basehits were recorded, two teams that were outhit won, one game was decided in a tie-break, two teams had monster-innings, scoring 22 runs combined in the eighth inning to turn their game around and win!
DOOR Neptunus became the new league-leader by handing ADO a big 16-0 shutout-loss on 16 basehits.
Neptunus had a 7-run rally in the fourth inning vs. ADO, which is now 0-10 at home.
Sparta-Feyenoord led 2-0 and 3-2 vs. Mr. Cocker HCAW, which came alongside twice to force extra innings.
In the eleventh, Sparta-Feyenoord scored twice to win 5-3 and give Bobby Carrington (who went the distance) his first win of the season.
The line scores of the games in Haarlem and Hoofddorp gave a similar view for the two home teams.
Corendon Kinheim and Vaessen Pioniers both trailed when the home of the eighth inning started, but then they started a huge rally to win, despite being outhit by their opponents.
At Haarlem, Kinheim trailed 7-0 vs. UVV when it scored 13 runs on seven hits and three errors in the eighth to win 13-7.
At Hoofddorp, Pioniers trailed 5-1 vs. L&D Amsterdam Pirates when it rallied for nine runs in their eighth at bat to win 10-5.
