AMSTERDAM (Neth.) - L&D Amsterdam closed a 3-team triple-header on Saturday with a 10-0 shutout-win vs. ADO, their third game in which they scored at least ten runs. In the morning, Amsterdam met Robur '58, which then played against ADO.

In their second game of the day, Amsterdam produced 12 basehits, including three by Bas de Jong, who also had three RBI's. In the first inning, De Jong doubled in the first run. With one out, Maikel Benner singled, then advanced on a grounder by Sidney de Jong and scored on the double. The second run was added in the second inning. Björn Henrichs led off with a single, then the bases were loaded when Zaïr Koeiman also singled and Remco Draijer walked. With two outs, Henrichs scored when ADO-starter Erik Remmerswaal also walked Maikel Benner.

In the third inning, Bas de Jong led off with a homerun to make it 3-0, then two runs were scored in the fourth at bat. Kenny Berkenbosch led off with a line drive double and Wesley Connor followed with a single. Berkenbosch then scored on a force play-grounder by Maikel Benner, who then scored himself when Sidney de Jong also doubled.

In the fifth inning, Amsterdam rallied for five runs off reliever Reginald Paz, increasing the lead to 10-0. Remco Draijer and Bas de Jong had RBI-singles in the at bat, while the other runs were the result of a sac-fly by Kenny Berkenbosch and two errors.

ADO had only one basehit off Kenny Berkenbosch, who threw five innings and struckout seven batters. Mark Kan threw the sixth and last inning and walked one batter, which was only the fourth ADO-runner in the game.
