 Tex Town Tigers splits with Terrasvogels

In the first game at Enschede between Tex Town Tigers and Iber Lengua Terrasvogels, American pitchers Jenna DeLong and Kate Vanderham made their debut.
The first went the distance for Tex Town Tigers and threw nine innings, losing 3-2, while the latter was relieved by Ginger de Weert in the seventh.
Trailing 2-0 in the seventh inning, TTT came alongside, but Terrasvogels won by scoring a run in the ninth on a bunt by De Weert.
In Game 2, Tex Town Tigers won 4-1, while Terrasvogels had only four basehits off winning pitcher Amber Krijgsman.
At Oosterhout, Twins won twice vs. Centrals, 7-4 and 6-3.
With these losses, Centrals extended its losing streak to eight games.
At Alkmaar, the first game between Alcmaria Victrix and Olympia Haarlem was tied at 1-1 in the bottom of the first inning when it was halted due to heavy rain.
While weather reports indicated that a dry period was approaching, the umpires called off the game, meaning Game 2 also was canceled.
The double-header was re-scheduled for Sunday, June 19.
