 UVV moves into tie for fourth place

UVV won 4-2 vs. L&D Amsterdam Pirates on Friday-evening to move into a tie for fourth place with Vaessen Pioniers, as both teams now have the same amount of points.
UVV committed four errors, but Amsterdam failed to turn them into runs.
UVV started the game with four consecutive basehits and took a 2-0 lead in the first at bat, then Amsterdam got the bases loaded with no outs in their first at bat.
But no runs were scored, as an infield-fly followed and then bad baserunning turned a flyout into a double play to end the inning.
At Rotterdam, DOOR Neptunus shutout Sparta-Feyenoord 9-0 on 13 basehits, including five doubles and one triple.
