 Pioniers hands Markwell first loss in important win

Vaessen Pioniers on Saturday won 5-1 vs. DOOR Neptunus to hand lefthander Diegomar Markwell his first loss of the season (10-1).
With the win, Pioniers registered an important victory trying to secure its spot in the top-four to make the Play-Offs, as UVV won 12-7 vs. Mr. Cocker HCAW to remain in the race for fourth place.
Corendon Kinheim won 4-2 vs. AamigoO ADO Lakers and can become the third team to reach the Play-Offs with a win on Sunday.
League-leader L&D Amsterdam Pirates shutout Sparta-Feyenoord 3-0 and needs one more win to secure first place in the regular season.
