 Kinheim adds Arends to roster

Dutch champion Corendon Kinheim has added 1B Jeffrey Arends to its roster for the new season.
Earlier, it was already announced that lefthander pitcher Jean-Paul Gulinck also will play for Kinheim (again) in 2013.
Arends played in 40 games for DOOR Neptunus, but then it came to a separation between the club and the player at the end of August.
Arends played for the Dutch National Team during the Haarlem Baseball Week, but was no member of the squad during the European Championship.
In the regular season, Arends batted .310 (45-for-145) with four homeruns, scored 36 runs and had 33 runs batted in.
Kinheim also confirmed that pitcher Jorn van Ingen will play for DSS in the new season, while back-up infielder Marvin Evangelista also left.
