 Cuba completes field of participants World Port Tournament

The national team of Cuba has completed the field of participants for the upcoming fourteenth edition of the Citrix World Port Tournament, the organization has announced.
This year, only four teams will participate in the bi-annual event, which will be held June 30 through July 7, three days short than in the past.
Also participating in the event in Rotterdam are Taiwan, Curaçao and of course the Netherlands.
Early November, it already was announced that Cuba, Curaçao, Taiwan and the Netherlands would participate, but Cuba has now confirmed that it will come to Rotterdam again.
In the same announcement in November, it was mentioned that the national team of the USA also would participate, but instead the tournament will go with a 4-team field of participants.
Initially, September was mentioned for a possible period to organize the event this season, but when that proved to be impossible, it was decided to stage the event again in July again.
The Dutch squad, which had to settle for the Silver Medal in last years European Championship, opens the 8-day tournament against the Taiwanese team, which won the event in 2011.
