 Starting Pitchers coming series

The first 3-game series of the 2013 season is in the books and that means that the next 3-game series is ahead of us.
And that will be four interesting series, as the the four teams that were most successful in the opening series will meet each other.
And of course, the four teams that were less successful also play against each other.
Let's have a look at the starting pitching rotations.
UVV vs. DOOR Neptunus
This will be a series between two teams, who began the season with three victories.
UVV won against Mr. Cocker HCAW and Neptunus swept newcomer Mampaey The Hawks.
Neptunus will go with the same rotation as in its first series.
UVV's starters for Game 1 and Game 2 are also the same as in the previous series.
However, their rotation changed when the opening game was stopped to problems with the lights and was completed the next day.
Therefore, starter Jurjen van Zijl didn't return to the mound, but started again on Sunday in Game 3.
American pitcher Chris Mezger took over for Van Zijl in the remainder of the upheld game on Friday.
When he is not needed in the first two games, Mezger might be the starting pitcher in Game 3 on Sunday.

L&D Amsterdam Pirates vs. Corendon Kinheim
Kinheim was the third team that completed a 3-game sweep in its opening series, beating Vaessen Pioniers.
Amsterdam won two of its three games against ADO Lakers.
Amsterdam Pirates will go with the same rotation as in the opening series.
The starting rotation of Kinheim against Pioniers changed due to the cancellation of the opening game.
The pitchers were moved to the next game, while Game 2 and Game 3 starters were switched.
While the rotation of Kinheim has yet to be confirmed, righthander David Bergman almost surely will start the opener again.
And it also is a possibility that Kinheim will now return to its original rotation for the next two games.

Mampaey The Hawks vs. ADO Lakers
ADO Lakers, the fifth team to register a win in the opening series, meets debuting The Hawks in its next series.
ADO Lakers won one of the three games against L&D Amsterdam Pirates, while The Hawks was swept by DOOR Neptunus.
ADO Lakers changed its starting rotation, as opposed to that against Amsterdam, except for its Game 2 starter.
The Hawks confirmed that the starters in Game 1 and Game 3 are the same as last week.
A starter for Game 2 is not yet confirmed, but that probably will be righthander Pim Swinkels.

Vaessen Pioniers vs. Mr. Cocker HCAW
This is the lone series of the coming days between two winless teams.
Pioniers was swept by Corendon Kinheim, while HCAW lost three games against UVV.
HCAW will go with the same rotation as in the opening series.
Pioniers probably also will have the same rotation, as it didn't change it despite the cancellations of their opener on Thurday and Friday and the playing of a make-up game on Tuesday.
But the Pioniers-rotation has not yet been confirmed.
