UVV vs. DOOR Neptunus
At Vleuten, unbeaten league-leader UVV led 2-1 after six innings on Saturday-afternoon against DOOR Neptunus and appeared to be en route to its fifth win in a row. But in the seventh inning, the team gave up two runs (one unearned), resulting in their first loss of the season, 3-2.

In the first inning, UVV scored twice off of Orlando Yntema, who pitched for UVV last season. Norbert Jongerius led off with a bunt-single and advanced on a passed ball and a grounder. After Dennis De Quint walked, he stole second base, but then a throwing error followed, enabling Jongerius to score. A grounder by Ricky Daal then made it 2-0. Hereafter, Yntema and three relievers gave up no more runs and only four hits in the next eight innings.

Ian Delemarre, who started for UVV instead of announced starter Dennis Burgersdijk, gave up only three hits to Neptunus in 5 2/3 inning. In the sixth inning, the young righthander gave up a lead-off double to Shaldimar Daantji, who moved on a grounder, then scored on a grounder by Gianison Boekhoudt. Next, Jerremyh Angela took over the pitching and hit Raily Legito with a pitch, but he was caught stealing to end the inning.

In the next at bat, Neptunus turned the game around when it scored twice. Dwayne Kemp and Rafaël Jozefa led off with singles and both moved on a grounder by Rudy Van Heydoorn. A grounder by Benjamin Dille then tied the score. On this grounder, Jozefa moved to third base and when a throwing error from first baseman Ricky Daal followed trying to eliminate him, the third run was scored to give Neptunus the lead.

Mampaey The Hawks vs. ADO Lakers
Mampaey The Hawks won its second game in a row against ADO Lakers with the same score as last Thursday, 9-8. Like two days ago, The Hawks initially held a big lead, 6-1 after four innings, but ADO Lakers came back again and was leading 7-6 in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Hawks then came alongside and eventually won in the tenth inning.

ADO Lakers initially took an 1-0 lead in the first inning, but The Hawks reacted with two runs, which were both scored on a wild pitch by Wimsley van Heijningen. The Hawks then enlarged it lead in the fourth inning by scoring four runs. Bob de Bruijn led off with a walk and Coen Merkx doubled with one out, then singles by Berend Ruben (one run) and Shurendell Borgschot (two runs) led to three runs. A walk then loaded the bases and a following grounder first led to a force out at home, but also a run.

Trailing 6-1, ADO Lakers got a run back in the fifth on a basesloaded walk, but also left the bases loaded. Two runs were added in the sixth on a force play-grounder by Edison Bito and single by Wamaer Bordewijk.

ADO Lakers then narrowed the deficit to 6-5 in the eighth when Bito stole home, while runner Tim Schaareman stole second base. They then took a 7-6 lead in the ninth on a grounder by Ludwin Obispo and a single by Rodney Michel. But in the home of the ninth, The Hawks tied the score on a single by De Bruijn to force extra innings.

In the tenth, ADO Lakers took a 8-7 lead on a single by Michel. But the lead was shortlived, as The Hawks answered with two runs to win the game. With the tie-break runners on first and second base, the bases were loaded when Frans van den Heuvel was hit by a pitch, then a grounder by Steven Wharwood tied the score. A force play-grounder by Berry van Donselaar then produced the winning run.
