 Roster Netherlands Team named for World Port Tournament

Steve Janssen, Manager of the Netherlands National Baseball Team, has named the 24-man roster for the upcoming World Port Tournament.
The roster was announced on Wednesday (July 1).
The bi-annual international World Port Tournament will be held July 18-26 at the Neptunus Familiestadion in Rotterdam (Netherlands).
Participating in the event this year besides the Dutch Team are Japan, Taiwan, Cuba and Curaçao.
The Dutch Team opens the tournament on Saturday, July 18 against the squad from Taiwan (Chinese Taipei).
Two players will make their national team-debut, being infielder Dudley Leonora (Corendon Kinheim) and outfielder Christian Diaz (Curaçao Neptunus).
Diaz is currently the second best hitter in the Dutch big league with a .396 batting average.
Janssen: ,,This is a nice mix of experienced players and young talents.
With Leonora and Diaz, we have two players who make their debut.
Last year, Leonora already participated in the World Championship Under-21, but now will wear the shirt of the national team for the first time.
Our goal for the WPT is simple: we want to play in the last game, meaning you're playing in the final and can win the tournament.
That's our goal for every tournament, but surely during the big tournaments in the Netherlands.''
Ten players on the 24-man roster are playing for reiging champion Curaçao Neptunus.
Five players are coming from Corendon Kinheim, four are playing for vice-champion L&D Amsterdam Pirates and three for Vaessen Pioniers.
One player comes from UVV.
One player plays abroad, being pitcher Mike Bolsenbroek, who plays for Regensburg Legionäre in Germany.
