Exhibition game Team Europe rains out in Japan
Nederlands
TOKYO (Japan) -
The exhibition game of Team Europe today (Sunday, March 8) was cancelled due to rainy conditions, making the field not playable.
The team of Manager Steve Janssen was to play against a minor league-team of the wellknown Yomiuri Giants to prepare for the upcoming 2-game Global Baseball Match against Samurai Japan.
Instead, the team held an indoor-practice.
Game 1 of that two-game series will be played next Tuesday, March 10.
Game 2 will be played on Wednesday.
Both games are played in the Tokyo Dome in Japanese capital Tokyo and will begin at 6 PM local time (10 AM Dutch time).
The two games will be broadcast live in Europe via Eurosport 2.
On Tuesday-evening, starting at 11 PM (Dutch time), a one-and-a-half-hour recap of the game will also be shown by Eurosport 2.
Team Europe will have a final workout at QVC Stadium.
