Dutch Junior in European Championship Final

OSTRAVA (Czech Republic) -
The Dutch Junior Team (AAA) has reached the final of the European Championship by winning 9-7 on Saturday-afternoon in the semi-final vs. France.
After trailing 3-0, the Dutch Team was leading with an apparant comforbable 9-4 lead, but then France rallied for three runs in the ninth inning.
France did the same the day before against Spain, which therefore missed the semi-final.
Leading 10-3, Spain was en route to the semi-final, but then France rallied for five runs.
Despite losing, the five runs gave France the advantage in the Team Quality Balance, which was the tie-breaker, as three teams had finished in second place.
The Dutch Team meets reigning champion Italy in the final, which won 12-6 vs. Czech Republic in the evening.
The final will be played on Sunday-evening.

Netherlands vs. France 9-7
Sweden vs. Great Britain 5-3
