This time, he led off with a walk, moved to third base on a sacrifice bunt by Jordy Burger and scored on a sacrifice fly by Rachid Engelhardt, who had also batted in the first run.
Hereafter, Quick got the bases loaded with two outs, as Bryan Engelhardt walked and both Tijmen Takke and Taylor Clemensia singled.
A force play ended the at bat and three runners were left behind.
Storks answered with two runs in the bottom of the third inning.
With one out, Stephen Henson singled.
After diving back to first base on a pick-off attempt, Henson was replaced by pinch-runner Jurian Hansen.
He scored all the way from first base when next batter Jurriaan Dijk doubled.
With the score now tied at 2-2, Luuk Visser and Ibrahin Redan both singled, which brought in Dijk and gave Storks a 3-2 lead.
The lead was shortlived, as Quick Amersfoort scored twice in the fourth inning.
Lead-off hitter Alberto Enrique Ostos reached on an error and moved on a wild pitch, then Emeron Lourens walked.
Both runners were awarded a next base when a balk was called by the umpiring crew.
Moments later, Ostos scored the tying run on a sacrifice fly by Denzel Brooks.
Quick took the lead when Lourens scored on a wild pitch with two outs.
The Storks-defense prevented another run in the top of the fifth.
Bryan Engelhardt led off with a single and stole second base.
With two outs, the veteran player tried to score on a single by Jules Cremer, but a nice throw followed from centerfielder Sergio Schoop.
At the plate, Engelhardt was eliminated by catcher Pim Vijfwinkel to end the inning.
In the sixth, Quick left a runner behind at third base after another fine play from the Storks-defense.
Alberto Enrique Ostos led off with a single and moved to third base on a sacrifice bunt and a wild pitch.
Denzel Brooks then walked and stole second base.
Next batter Jordy Burger flied out to leftfielder Luuk Visser, who got the ball in time to second base where short stop Jurian Hansen completed a double play, as Brooks returned too late.
In the seventh, Quick left runners behind on first and second base.
In the bottom of the fourth, the Quick-defense turned a double play.
In the fifth and sixth inning, Storks got three batters to reach base, but all were forced out.
With Quick leading 4-3, Jhan Rifaela took over the pitching in the bottom of the seventh, but he gave up the tying run.
The lefthander walked lead-off hitter Kelvin Knape, who moved into scoring position on a wild pitch, then reached third base on a sacrifice bunt by Jurian Hansen.
Knape then scored the tying run when an error was made on a grounder by Jurriaan Dijk.
With the score tied at 4-4, Diornick Sanchez became the new pitcher for Storks in the eighth and then retired the side.
But he gave three runs in the ninth on only one basehit.
Sanchez walked Jordy Burger, who moved into scoring position on a flyout.
With first base open, powerhitter Bryan Engelhardt was walked intentionally.
With two outs, the bases got loaded when Taylor Clemensia walked.
Shortly thereafter, Quick took the lead for the fourth time and this time hold onto it.
Burger scored on a wild pitch, then Engelhardt and Clemensia both scored on a single by Jules Cremer, which made it a 7-4 score.
In the bottom of the ninth, Jhan Rifaela walked lead-off hitter Jurian Hansen, but then retired the next three batters, including his third and fourth strikeout.
