With two outs, both Tyler Boersma and Joey Eeman delivered a runscoring single.
Next, the bases got loaded when Nolan Beugeling walked, but then the inning ended with a flyout and three runners were left behind.
After stranding a runner on third base in the second inning, Pioniers added a run in the third at bat.
With one out, Tyler Boersma and Joey Eeman singled again.
Eeman's infield-hit was followed by a throwing error which enabled Boersma to reach third base.
He then scored on a force play-grounder by Nolan Beugeling.
Righthander Scott Prins had a strong start for Pioniers, as he retired the first ten batters of HCAW in a row.
With Pioniers leading 3-0 and one out in the fourth, Prins gave up a double to Linoy Croes, but he was left behind on second base.
Pioniers answered with two runs in the bottom of the fourth.
Mark Smit led off with a walk and Raul Jacobs reached on an infield-hit, then both scored on an one-out double by Victor Draijer.
Trailing 5-0, HCAW scored its first run in the top of the fifth.
With two outs, the Bussum-team got the bases loaded when Arthur Bonevacia and Berend Ruben singled and Bob van der Meer walked.
The first runner then scored on a sacrifice fly by Leandro Anasagasti, but the other two stranded, as Scott Prins closed with a strikeout.
In the bottom of the fifth, Pioniers decided the game with a 6-run rally off of three pitchers.
Only one run was earned, as the HCAW-defense committed three errors.
That raised the team's total to five in this game.
The last time HCAW made this many errors in one game was on May 20, 2017 when the team committed six against Twins Oosterhout.
With one out, Jaison Gijsbertha singled, then his pinch-runner Reangelo Willems reached second base safely when a pick-off attempt ended in an error.
When next batter Mark Smit walked, Johannes Verroen Garcia took over the HCAW-pitching, but he got the bases loaded when he walked Raul Jacobs.
Two runs were scored hereafter when an error was made on a force play-grounder by Max Draijer and a wild pitch accounted for the next run.
A walk for Victor Draijer and a runscoring single by Tyler Boersma followed, which led to the next pitching change.
Jasper Elfrink took the mound and saw the two runners advance on a passed ball.
With two outs, the third error in the inning enabled Draijer to score the fifth run in the at bat.
An RBI-single by Nolan Beugeling brought in the sixth run and lifted the lead to 11-1.
After leaving runners behind on first and third base in the sixth, HCAW erased the 10-run difference in the top of the seventh by scoring three runs off of Nick Loos, who had taken over for Scott Prins.
Pinch-hitter Raibiëntly Mercalina led off with a walk and with one out, Arthur Lugtmeijer, another pinch-hitter, also walked.
With two outs, both scored when Linoy Croes hit his second homerun of the season.
Hereafter, Patrick Bok and Rodney Daal both singled, which brought in new pitcher Nathan Diaby, who got an inning-ending flyout.
In the bottom of the seventh, Pioniers added one more run.
Tyler Boersma led off with a walk and after a flyout, Gio de Graauw became the new pitcher for HCAW.
He replaced Bobbie Gnade, who had pitched a scoreless sixth inning.
De Graauw got the bases loaded when he hit Nolan Beugeling with a pitch, then gave up an infield-hit to Jorrit Penseel.
With two outs, Boersma scored on a wild pitch.
As Pioniers was unable to make it another 10-run difference, the game continued, but no runs were added in the final two at bats.
