Make-up game Storks vs. Twins Oosterhout rains out again

THE HAGUE (Neth.) -
The make-up between Silicon Storks and Twins Oosterhout, which was scheduled for Saturday (October 3), was cancelled again due to rain and field-conditions.
The game, which was to be the third in the series, was originally scheduled for last Sunday (September 27), but then rained out also.
The 3-game series opened on Thursday-evening, September 25.
Twins Oosterhout then recorded a big 19-3 win after initially trailing 3-0 in the first inning.
Two days later, Twins Oosterhout recorded a big 12-0 shutout-win.
For Storks, that was its 19th consecutive loss.
Last Thursday, L&D Amsterdam Pirates, Curaçao Neptunus, HCAW and the KNBSB (federation) jointly agreed that the remaining make-up games in the Top-4 Pool will not to be played when a decision has been reached to determine the second finalist for the Holland Series.
This to secure the Holland Series can open on October 10 and also to eliminate unnecessary traveling after stricter measures were announced earlier last week against the coronavirus.
Today, Amsterdam Pirates defeated HCAW 5-1 to become the second finalist.
While a decision has been reached, it was also agreed that tomorrow's (now unnecessary) third game between Pirates and HCAW will be played on Sunday, as scheduled.
As the remaining make-up games in the Top-4 Pool have now been scrubbed, today's rainout between Storks and Twins Oosterhout in the Bottom-4 Pool almost surely also will not be re-scheduled again.
When that indeed will be the case, the season has ended for both teams today.
They were initially to play four more games in the 2-week, 8-team Cup-Competition, but that was cancelled last Wednesday.
